Y’all NEED to try the deer antlers for the dogs! More cost upfront BUT they last literally YEARS. And they don’t smell or splinter in the dogs stomach like the rawhide type ones

Katie you can buy a pack of microfiber cloths to dust with for just a few dollars more than those swifter dusters to dust with and to use on the floor swiffer! The. All you do is wash and reuse them!!!

Instead of continuing to buy pods for the Keurig, because pods can get expensive, I found filters cups for the Keurig and I bought the big thing of folders coffee grounds and scoop some up and put it in the filter in the morning! You can also get like 5 uses out of the one time you put the grounds in so you could have a cup in the morning and then use the same one for another cup later! It lasts such a long time and saves you so much money in the end! Just a suggestion! I love making the switch that I did!

I haven’t ever commented on your videos, but have watched for a few years. For whatever reason, these budget videos are speaking to me! We are good with our budget, and haven’t had any debt until last week when I bought a new car. Your videos have really encouraged and inspired me to buckle down on our budget. We too have a UA-cam channel, but it hasn’t grown to the point of needing to budget those funds. Learning from you guys is really going to help IF we can ever make our channel work. I’m rootin’ for you guys! Also, when I talk to my husband at night about your videos, he now knows you by name...like friends that we regularly chat about! Kind of fun. Thanks for being brave enough to share; you’re an inspiration to so many that are struggling and don’t know how to help themselves. Good luck!!

I consult with Norwex. I’m not sure how you clean your windows, but..... you can get a dust mit/ or wand, envirocloth and window cloth to replace buying dusting wipes, antibacterial wipes, windex type products and paper towels :). Saves a lot of money and waste!!!!!! Also better for your family and environment 💕 loving all you vlogs as of late. The struggle is real and I appreciate your honesty. It’s helping me reconsider things as well!

As a dog trainer and someone who works with dogs- AVOID rawhide and all bones at grocery stores. If you have a pet supplies plus or something similar nearby, ask for raw marrow bones, bully sticks, thick cut water buffalo horns, and Kong’s frozen up. You’re just asking for a vet bill, I promise you! Our favorites to give the dogs are primal raw marrow bones.

Katie, don't let people make you feel guilty about your grocery choices. We all have to feed our kiddos. Let them worry about their children and you worry about yours. I got tore up reading some of the comments on the Aldi grocery haul video. I felt personally attacked, I guess bc it looked like MY own grocery haul, just in your house. Lol. Then I reminded myself and you not to worry about what other people think. We have to do what works best for our families. My husband loves those $1 Pot Pies too. Lol. It is what it is, man. There are more important hills to die on. I love y'all SO much. ❤❤❤

$4.00 Splurge - you will find having your home smell amazing helps your mood. I occasionally find a cute homey item in the Target Bullseye area $5 & under. Those tiny moments of joy are worth the hard work of budgeting. That doesn't mean every shopping trip because then it's not special but the month I have a little $$ left over I will explore the $5 & under bins.

Try a local lawncare company. Most places can do a single application or maybe 2. Since the house is on the market you won't need a full season program, but maybe just find someone that you can do single pay per applications with... would be less expensive and that way you can get those weeds treated and green the lawn up to look nice for showings... Love you guys 😊

I'm all for giving the off-brand a fair shake. It's not the only off brand thing I might buy but when I was eating Froot Loops I tried the store brand instead to try it out. Turns out brand name Froot Loops are just coloured loops like coloured Cheerios but the off-brand turns out that they make theirs with actual fruit juice so you taste grape on the purple one etc etc. Good job sticking to the envelopes & I can't wait to see how you use the gift cards! I know which ALDI pizzas you're talking about and they have different ones you need to get! They have some frozen ones in the plastic wrappers, then they have frozen ones in the box - like DiGiorno, Freschetta, etc. THOSE are the money - they are GOOD and we now prefer them to other brands! They are the Mama Cozzi brand. You won't be disappointed! 😊

Just a thought....really strong smells are a big turn off for me. I have become way more sensitive to stuff like that after having kids. You may not need to keep buying those scent cubes if it's possibly turning people away. I'd rather go into a clean house that smells like nothing. Just something to consider.

Use some of those Amazon gift cards and buy a bag of Elderberries for $25 and make your own syrup! That way you know exactly what's in it and it will save you so much money in the long run!!!! We just bought our first bag and my brother in law made a batch for us and gave us the recipe. So much better than from the store. Just be careful to do it during a time when a showing can't be scheduled because it will make your kitchen smel like feet for a short time 😂.

Tonight, for example, the kids had the corn dogs, I had leftover spaghetti, and Cullen had leftover tacos. It’s very often a hodge podge of leftovers. 😂 But our kids don’t eat red meat (not intentional, they just don’t like it AT ALL 🤷🏼‍♀️). They also don’t like soups or casseroles. 😩 So that cuts out many of the meals that Cullen and I like to eat like spaghetti, chili, tacos, burgers, etc. So that’s when the kids get the other random easy-heat-up stuff that Cullen and I don’t eat as much of!

Most of us look for ways to save money and get debt under control. I see buying a house as smart debt that will appreciate in the long term. I think you might want to reconsider selling it unless you're moving for a job, otherwise you're going to take a hit that will increase your debt. It might of been a case of biting off more than you can chew but it's still the one good thing you're spending money on. Look for ways to increase yearly income as well as getting rid of the non essential debt and try to keep the property. I think that along with the cost cutting measures you've put in place will put you into a better financial position. When you get to a position on the house where you have some decent equity built up, then you, imo, will be in a better position to sell and make money doing it. Just a suggestion.

So $7ish for 3 servings 😂🤷🏼‍♀️. It works out to be a pretty good deal. Also I don’t know if you have them in your area, but we have a discount pet food chain here called Pet Club. You can use the numbers app that comes on your iPhone and add each item to that spread sheet and it will calculate your sum! :) Then you won’t lose track! When I use the actual calculator I always mess it up and lose everything! PS: Thanks for the tip on buckling my bag into the cart! Love that! I’m always paranoid someone will snatch it!

I've never seen that many gift cards in my life! Where did they all come from? Are they rewards cards from having spent so much money at Amazon?
