SP 4449 Deadhead Moves and Other Trains in Portland, OR 6-23-17

With SP 4449 set to depart the next morning, a plethora of things needed to be done to get the train ready. Here we see the famed 4449 headed through Portland to wye itself, a couple Cascades trains and even an appearance from the Portland & Western. Enjoy.

Amazing! You were lucky to hear PNWR give a hornshow, the crews rarely do that, especially in a quiet zone. Did you railfan SE Portland while you were there? There is horn alley, which is 11 crossings in a row, and trains go really slow through there.

Trains N' Stuff they did that because the crossing was malfunctioning. I wanted to get them at horn alley but didn't get there in time
