Due to tertiary Ne, many ESTJs and ESFJs are probably more fun and creative than they're often stereotyped to be. Based on many online profiles about the ESJ (and particular ESTJ) types, I often picture someone who is overly serious and uptight. But that is often not how people of this type appear to be at all in reality. I know ESJs that (especially when they "let their hair down") have a strongly playful, light-hearted, charming, and witty side to their personality that makes them appear to be similar to ENPs. I've even mistaken a few of them to be ENPs at first. But what made me eventually realize that they're actually ESJs is that after all the fun and play, they would always "get back to reality", and they are at bottom deeply realistic people, who want to master the rules of the game and play well within the system rather than to change the system or live outside of it (the way ENPs or some other types might).

I thought I was ENTP for a long time due to my Ne.

I'm 24 and I believe that I'm ESTJ. My Ne can cause people to see me as Intuitive... But at the end of the day I'm more focused on reality, business, economics, politics, getting things done. I love abstract themes though 😉

You two are amazing! I just watched several of your presentations for the first time (though I've known about you for awhile) and they are incredibly on point and insightful! The reason I found you is because a few months ago I stumbled upon your si child vid and, being infp, was really excited to see what you had to say. But not surprisingly, I never got around to watching it! I'm definitely going to now!
I pray you have continued success in your work!
With love, a young infp 💕

I'm pretty well studied in this science but was still able to get some good info out of the video. So thanks!
Something I wanted to mention: when it comes to using the parent function to get out of the child; it's a bit more complex. The parent function is indicative of ones level of maturity. If the parent function is not developed it will be more difficult. However, strengthening this function is not as easy as it sounds. The best way to strengthen this function, and all the functions is to work on the critical parent function. It's where one's hypocrisy is. It's also where there their shame is. If critic is properly developed the individual will have less worry (nemesis), less fear (inferior) more maturity (parent). Most importantly the child function (which is literally one's inner child) will heal and become stronger. The inner child is also where miracles happy let's not forget.
