Hey new Sub! You have a very impressive Rex Collection, I've definitely been interested in getting into the BOTM line for quite some time, this may give me the push I need! Excellent review!!👍
It's a possibility! I've archived some of it, some of it is in a big box and the rest of it is all over the place at the minute so it's a little tricky. Of course, it keeps growing, too! 🦖
Really wish I got this one! Grew up with the show so I'm kind of bummed out Lol. But I got the fan choice pachyrhinosaurus today and it blew me away. It's huge and the paint is soooo nice. It makes it my 5th botm figure :)
Ooh, the Pachyrhinosaurus is my favourite BOTM ceratopsian, and the fan's choice one looks amazing!! 😻 I kind of feel like I wish I had that one too, now 😅 And the new Styracosaurus looks amazing! I wonder what fan's choices may come out in the Tyrannosaur series? 🤔🦖
@@aeonfire82 I'd definently recommend the new version! It's definently one of my favorites in my collection now. I agree the new styracosaurus looks amazing! I love the short film it's base off of too. I'd definently pick it up if I didn't have the original. There are so many things they could do with the rex. I really hope they don't do jurassic park though as i feel like we have plenty jurassic styled rexes lol
What a great collection of figures. Or, would a group of Tyrannosaurs be called a “ Monarchy .” I commented on another channel how someone should release the tyrannosaur from the Ringo Starr film CAVEMAN!
That's an excellent noun for a collective of Tyrannosauruses!! 😻 You know, I've never heard of that film (or possibly have, but it's got lost in my largely forgotten childhood) I'll have to check it out! 😊🦖
Occasionally there is a little extra stock which goes on general sale, I know that was the case with the 1:18 Dino Riders rex. So you may get lucky! 😊🦖
@@aeonfire82 Me too if not then I don’t know what to do maybe get the unpainted version and then try to paint it myself even though I am not much of a painter
If you do that, you may be able to commission an artist to do it for you! 😊 It adds to the expense but may be worth it. I'm wondering if he may eventually do a Fan's Choice version in the Prehistoric Planet colours, I've seen some great versions of that 🦖
Loving this format of reviewing/a closer look, especially the details that you pick up on! The other rex figures make good comparison material as well 👍🏼👍🏼
I’m glad to hear the paint on this is durable. Up until this point, the only T. Rex model I have with durable paint is papo’s green Rex. The paint on my nanmu and rebor figures come off wayyyy too easily. And I’m a man child who bring my figures around and play with them occasionally 😅
Ah, I'm sorry to hear that about the Nanmu and Rebor's! I've never had any problems at all with those. The only ones I find that really scuff easily are the Safari Ltd ones! 🦖
@@aeonfire82 my nanmu and rebor figures, when scraped against each other or stacked on top of each other lightly, the paint will come off. They’re only for display now while I wait for this figure. :)
He's definitely got a slightly deeper thorax, but from the top he's actually a bit slimmer! It's great having them all lined up together because they're all clearly T. rex, yet have such different aesthetics. The BOTM one has a slightly proportionally longer and narrower snout than most of the others, but it still has a lot of bulk. The articulation by it's necessity makes it look slimmer! But it's still got good bulk to it 😊
It's very close, but it's still my favourite! I think it'll be a very long time before the aesethetics of KISS are beaten and it's a great value figure too. I know some people have had trouble with the jaw closing and staying shut after they've opened it, but luckily mine doesn't have that problem! 😊🦖
I think is so cool to see a woman collecting dinosaurs like me 😂
Agreed

very cool to see women collecting dinosaur
My mum and my aunt encouraged my love of dinosaurs and other cool things from an early age ❤️🦖
Wish it looked more like that wwd Rex
It may just be that Rebor eventually produces something like that 🤔 They seem to be wanting to do every single permutation of T. rex, after all 😊
@@aeonfire82 we shall see x

Oh I could be SO tempted 😻 I'd like to get the Wendiceratops too though, she's high on my wishlist 😊
It’s really superb. And wow, you’ve got yourself a strong assortment of rexes there. 😮
Thank you! I forgot my Kaiyodo one 😅 I always manage to miss one!! I forgot to show it on the base, too 😜🦖 It does fit but takes a little persuasion 😊
Amazing figure 👌
I loved the video 🤍
Good, I'm glad I was able to show you the figure to your satisfaction! 😊🦖 It really is a tremendous T. rex!

😹😹😹🦖 That is BRILLIANT!! Thank you, I love it 😆❤️ How had I never heard of it before?! The animation and sound effects are excellent 😆
Thank you again, this really makes me smile 😆 I'm sharing it far and wide!
It’s BS that you have to use goddamn Kickstarter but who knows I hope it comes out on eBay
