- See the Orion32+ - Antelope Audio's 32-channel Thunderbolt™ and USB audio interface - in a super flexible and easy to route digital patch bay setup.
With 64 audio channels streamable via Thunderbolt™ and 32 on USB, Orion32+ is the optimum fit for any mixing or mastering set up in which you want to explore and take advantage of your favorite outboard gear. The convenient routing matrix of the Orion32+ software control panel will easily allow you to convert your digital audio to analog signal and feed it through your hardware effects. Then you can easily return the signal back to the audio interface and record it with your favorite DAW.
It's a fast and super efficient scenario, which will take you just a few settings in the Windows and OS X compatible control panel. However, we've called it a digital patch bay so you can easily use the ADAT or S/PDIF digital outputs of the Orion32+ to send and receive signal to and from your preferred digital outboard gear.
Orion 32+ also allows you to send full mixes as stereo audio. Those can be quickly assigned to any of its monitoring or headphone outs and then streamed to mastering gear or used as a zero latency reference to the studio musicians you are currently working with.
This is just a tiny glimpse of the beast of functionality and flexibility that Orion32+ offers. We are sure you want to learn more, check out all our Orion32+ videos here: • Antelope Audio present...

Need to be able to "label outputs" (not just the inputs)... This is not an analog patchbay.... What are we supposed to do, slap 32 of adhesive stickers on our Orion 32+ to tell us which piece of analog gear is connected to the I/O in the back?
What happens if you wanna run your audio in series. I.e from Daw into a compressor into a saturation unit and back? Can the software do this
hello good morning I would like to know if the antelope orion 32+ 3 gen she has pre in the analogic inputs?
it doesn't have preamps, just line level in/out
Can you send to multiple analogue devices like an "insert" as if you were you using a patch bay? This video looks like you can only send out one line and then back in, so I'd have to string together aux channels to create the desired chain? Is there a way to patch these together in the Routing Matrix?
Wondering the same thing!
Same question here, interested in a Galaxy 64, but I want to avoid buying also a standard patch or a Flock Audio Patch or Dangerous Music Liaison or SPL Hermes to avoid multiple conventions on a hybrid mix/master setup... The tech support I emailed was very vague in the answer and did not feel serious, so now I'm not even sure if I'll get an Antelope Audio...
Doesn’t look like it
Damn skippy!
3 Apogee users saw this.
Just use a dsub snake with a real patchbay and forget the headache from looking at that awful looking digital interface.
And add cabling mess...
huhummmmmmm Flock audio makes an analog patchbay with digital control. Best of both worlds! And the UI is actually good
Turn the music down and teach me as if I don't already know what to do
