I own 12 SP's. Over various price ranges. My favs are Mielfleur *best honey beeswax I have ever got my nose on. Dewaniya *amazing amber Aurum D'Angkhor. Fougere Noir and I have a couple of his rose heavy amongst them. The quality is amazing but they are really for personal experience. Put a bit on your lower arm and smell away sitting alone in a chair.
I have tried many of Henry Jacque’s attars.now available as sprays. Snow Rose being the first. Tribute and Homage by Amouage. Tribute was like what I bet a vampire would wear.I could go either way. and spray. I intend to explore some you were mentioning as I appreciate your taste.
Amouage Tribute is simply extraordinary!! In the art of Perfumery, Tribute is one of the greatest ever created in my humble opinion! It is discontinued now, tributing Amouage Tribute Sultan Pasha made a brilliant composition called Ame Sombre obviously with his own twist, for those who missed Tribute, Ame Sombre can be a great replacement!
I love sultan pasha work, my favourite from him is Al Lail, sadly it isn’t available currently but it is incredible. Mellifluence perfume also does so amazing attars which are great value for the quality of ingredients and workmanship from Abdulla
I have never smelled Mellifluence Attars but for me of all the Attars I have smelled & I have some reviews on some Amouage Attars soon... Sultan Pasha is miles ahead if everything else I have smelled 🙏🙏🙏
So great to see you are digging the house Sultan Pasha now! A true & genuine artist! You are in for treats after treats....So many of his compositions I can suggest to you, but no point, they are all either very good or brilliant...His small samples are enough try them properly as they are so strong and you need only a tiny bit. Safe to use dental floss picks (what I do), the pointy end to take some juice out from the tiny sample bottles & apply on your skin, and throw it away.... this will prevent the juice getting waste or mixed up...I'm sure you have your own technique, just sharing mine if it helps...😅🙏
To hire Sultan Pasha at Amouage is impossible with the current director. Sultan Pasha is like Leonidas, and the man-fish turns everything into shit. Only Cecile Zarokian saves Amouage's situation. Sultan Pasha would make Amouage return to its glory days, and even surpass its former glory. But I would honestly prefer Sultan Pasha to act on his own and create these beautiful works, rather than be constrained and waste time for such a crappy brand as Amouage has become. I will add that I love Amouage for old time's sake, but what Salmon is doing is killing me. Best regards to Sultan Pasha, I wish you good health and all the best. Ramsey take care and as always be healthy.
Welcome to the world of my favourite perfumer alive today. I personally lean away from his more oriental compositions and gravitate towards his classical feminine fragrances. Highlights from what I’ve tried include cuirlilas which is a beautiful purple floral leather, Chypre narcisse which has an interesting green open and an ASTONISHING chypre drydown, and Mielfleur which is an incredible floral honey that isn’t pissy. I have yet to try encense chypre, but I hope to try it next year.
Hey Ram, one more thing, I know you mentioned that you have your routine and Attars deviate from that path as of now.. but I feel apart from application of scents you also appreciate good quality scents and blending. I urge you to check out house like Masion Anthony Marmin. Yes he does not use all natural and uses quite a bit of synthetics, however his blending skills are something you shd get your nose on. They dont break a bank to experience something special, specially when its putting you out of the routine.
And yes he has made his own deer musk accord and it is one of his attars. He says on his website: This is my faithful recreation of deer 🦌 musk and it contains nearly over 75% natural materials and quite faithfully recreates not only the tell tale signature of deer musk but also the different nuances felt across the different subspecies, from tropical vietnam 🇻🇳 all the way to freezing Siberia 🇷🇺. The synthetics it contains are mainly the nature replicants already found in Deer 🦌 musk in small amounts that has been synthetically recreated.
I've heard of Sultan Pasha and wanted to smell his creations like for ages. But also they're kinda useless to me as I never put fragrance on my skin, I spray on my clothes and if everyone else would do the same IFRA wouldn't exist. Hope one day he'll come up with spray perfumes. I remember in one of his interviews he told that he's working on it, it's been a while ago though. Hope one day he'll release something sprayable... Thanks for the review
You know, a lot of folks apply attars to clothing. When I was traveling out of country, I noticed people adding a drop to hands, lightly rubbing hands together (not roughly) then sliding both hands over their shirt. It was an interesting process but it definitely worked. And there were no oil smears on the clothes.
@YaYa-ke1zr I was thinking about it, but I'm pretty sure having such stuff on my hands will give me a headache. I mean I know that for sure as I have some oils and synthetic aroma-chemicals and I always wear gloves when dealing with them, otherwise migrene is guarantied. So I'll keep waiting for spray versions, hope they're going to be amazing!
@@shallbee. Attar wearer here, albeit a new one, I quite often apply a drop on the collar and or down on the sleeve near wrist or elbow...the only concerns are that some attars may discolour so I don't do it on any light colours, and that the smells will last, I will wear the same sweater the next day and still get hints of it, so I kinda restrict which attars I'll apply to clothes, but something rose or amber lingering on my sweater is lovely
The Mozart of attars! ❤ Can't disagree with that title. But I might disagree with the significant other bringing you stuff by the fireplace. 🤣 Get your own damn tea. 😂 Fortunately, I certainly relate to the difficulties that come with articulating the feelings evoked by artisanal perfumery. It's just a different ballgame. And I'm wearing skates. ⛸ Now play ball!!! ⚾ GFL
Actually Carolina Herrera Bad boy Le Parfum is not bad. The first bad boy was very sweet, but Bad boy Le Parfum has that earthy green cannabis note. So it's not as sweet. It gives it a kind of musky green earthiness to it that a lot of modern fragrances don't have. Still can't compare to vintage anamalic fragrances of course. I still have to send you samples of stuff maybe I'll send you a little one of that one. But it would be equally fun to see you trash it LOL. Anyway great video.

They never reformulate their perfumes or dumb them down for profits. @@RamseytheRam oooo... thanks for the clarification. You see, you wake up and learn something new every day. I did not know LVMH bought Guerlain. Seems like LVMH is the evil empire.
