I am a NAUI scuba diver who made many deep water dives off a 12.5 foot Zodiac. This has plenty of places to secure my dive gear and likely a tank rack. It’s far more stable vs a Zodiac. I had one dive in Carmel when a Great White swim next to my Zodiac bumping my dive BC as I was just inside taking off second fin when he showed up. He was longer than the Zodiac. A metal boat would have made me feel a lot better than those PVC air filled tubes.
I live in Long Island Newyork i’ve been looking for a fishing boat for a while now I did all my research USA made aluminum boats are not that great very basic such as Duranatic and asking to much money. I love this boat so nead looking.❤
what 30 where you running? i have this exact boat with no motor and am trying to decide on an outboard. i can save alot my doing the new tohatsu 30 but dont wanna be to under gunned. how did the 30 do in your testing?
This is a Mercury 30ELPT. We didn't get thorough specs on this as it was just before winter when we ran it, but overall it worked well. I don't believe you'd be under powered if you put your 30hp Tohatsu on it. Cheers

Another excellent review thank you
Thanks! 😊
Those air chambers are filled with foam.
I’m told they are safe but will come down hard in rough seas.
