Anyone else have a love/hate relationship w the haunted stages in general? Also thanks for beating one of my favorite childhood games fast normally and 100 percent as well, I admire the patience and skill it takes to make these runs happen

You take things so fast and at maximum risk that it makes me nervous and I think I found watching the speedrun more suspenseful in that way xD For instance, these mini-skips on Ghost Bayou 1:34:07 and 1:34:53 and so many other places. grats on WR !
Im glad i got what i came for, i never finished this game as a child and wanted to see how it ended, and what better way than to see it end with a Speedrun, good shit, and great run! Took me like 3-4 days to actually finish watching it all too, lol
I owned this for the OG Xbox, and I remember the sound design and graphics being considerably better than this. Wonder what difficulties they had with the GC Port
@@brandoncarson3143 That would kinda encourage my theory even more. OG Xbox is known to have better graphics than the PS2. Side Note: Not trying to start a console war here. I'm still Team PlayStation

Why is Into the Volcano's maze so overrun with lava when the actual level has next to none? D: I see you have some of the same problem areas that I did back when I played the game. Blade Mountain, in particular... (puts on sunglasses) *shredded* your run, it seems. (YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!) 56:40: "I JUMPED, GAME!!!" -You also died before you touched the lava, even though you were metal. Which is how molten lava works in real life. D:

As someone who grew up with this game, knowing a run like this exists is so cathartic.
I agree, I couldn't do this in my wildest dreams.
But the fact that the tokens apparently can be ignored in the "100%" category irks me. XD
This is such an insane speedrun. I liked this game plenty but the memory and skill required to 100% every level in one run is crazy. Good job!
Playing this as a kid I remember struggling to get the fruit on top of all of the houses in the first level lol

Tokens aren't required for the 100% completion. 100% requires to collect all fruit and pac-dots in every level.
tokens are only used as a collectable to unlock the arcade games in pac-village.
