i had dinner at the tower's rotating restaurant. as i walked to my table someone bungy jumped. it was really funny suddenly seeing someone fall down outside the window.
This is not your typical bungee jump setup. There are other lines attached which prevent the jumper from rebounding into the building or getting wind gusts and getting blown around. You can also see that the speed and "whip" at the bottom or not as intense as a real bungee jump. The risks would be to great with a real bungee jump from those heights.
I've actually lived in Macau for six years. I've been there. Trust me, It's the same feeling. The support cables are there so that you don't hit the building. :)
