There’s no way I read this while there too 😂
Soup made the Gielinor Games, some of the best Runescape content ever made. Also Soup: I picked up logs for an hour. He really does it all.
Just found out about the weirdest money maker you should totally check out because it's from content I think 99% of the playerbase has never heard of - Salarin the Twisted and Sinister Keys.
Salarin is a level 70 chaos druid in the Yanille Agility Dungeon (north of Yanille behind the spider webs) who can only be hurt by Strike spells, but always takes max damage from them (9/10/11/12 respectively). He has a 1/12.8 chance to drop a Sinister Key, which currently sells for around 33k.
Sinister Keys can be used on the chest just past the pipe crawl in the entrance of the dungeon to get 9 specific herbs every key: 3 Ranarr, 2 Harralander, 1 Irit, 1 Avantoe, 1 Kwuarm and 1 Torstol.
You can either buy the keys off the GE and just open the chest, or you can try to farm the keys yourself. You can open roughly 400 chests per hour (be warned the chest WILL poison you every time you open it so you will need antipoison), and assuming everything buys and sells at GE average you're looking at over 1M profit! Alternatively if you fire strike Salarin you can get up to 75 kills per hour, or roughly 6 keys on average, selling for just under 200k at current prices.
Apparently back in early Classic this was the only way to get Torstol, which at the time was only used in Zamorak Brews. Kind of funny to see how times change.
Wow I didn’t realize they buffed the zamoraks grapes! The points per blessing ratio used to be WAY worse, plus like 30% of the wines would spoil no matter your cooking level! Thanks for letting us know!
about raids scouting, the most profit raids lately is:
Guardian-mystic-shaman
Shaman-mystic-guard
however this raids normaly need to have Farming and scavangers as the first room...
you can see this with the letters over the raid, it need to start with SF or FS.
this raids sells for up to 10m each! the reason people pay this much for the raid is because its used for boosting.
In general people want rope + thieving, but also rope + crab sometimes for 10m... 3+12 boosters buy rope + any for 3m!, and mega scale boosters buy crope/thrope for 10m!
13:10 could’ve sold them for 157k
13:30 sold them for 143k to make even more
I was thinking the same thing, like wait that doesn't make sense :p
And have to pay for jugs of water
Totally worth the 98 cooking req to not waste any of this profitable wine
Exactly what I was gonna say!
LOL woops
i swear i remember framed doing the earth into air staff method at some point in his videos like last year, blew my mind
yeah i think so too, in one of his 'from scratch' type of series
He did. He also mentioned the cox raid layout
@soupRS
Scaled raid layouts can sell for 10m or even higher. SMG/GMS with rope/thieving. Needs to start with FS or SF in the room layout key
I saw you active on the sheet, so I knew you were working on another one. Keep up the great content!
Havent play runescape for like 3 years, but always kept on watching these videos of you haha always impressive to see how creative some scapers are
@@shalamaaarsilence esl
i used to do zamorak grapes as part of my herb/bird/jute run . between doing toadflax at regular patches and snapdragon at protected ( attas anima ) and magic/redwood birdhouses you can easily maintain a bond with very little investment , use toadflax and birdnests to make brews can make super restores with the snapdragon ( i usually fight spidines at ToL for red eggs) plus i think since tithe farm update its a lot more approachable .
pog
That staff money maker is one of framed favorites definitely worth the money
14:29 As a German I can say you actually nailed that pronounciation :D
13:37 Actually, you lost money making the wine but you gain xp. I don't know if I missed this but try an hour of killing Oomlies for just the raw meat instead of trying to burn them if you haven't already.
Have you ever made brutal ogre arrows for this series? Rune and addy ones seem to have good margins but I’ve never been able to try since starting capital is so high
i love the content. but the grapes sold for 153k according to the ge and the wines sold for 143k. so i can see the grapes not selling but that math doesnt math
Instead of picking up the artic pines , you should pick up the 2x burnt meat & worldswap
The Duke Sucellus boss room has a shelf of infinite pestle and mortars. You have to drop the one in your inventory to pick up a new one but they're currently about 300 each, or 8400 gp an inventory.
holy SHIT that is terrible!
imagine finishing DT2 and ur money making method is grabbing pestle and mortars LMFAO
Bro what just use herblore cape if ur gonna do that
Hey, it's definitely unusual
@@ro0b0 That requires 99 herblore while this only requires 75 firemaking, 75 magic, 70 thieving, 62 herblore, 60 runecrafting, 60 construction, and completion of Desert Treasure I, the Dig Site, Temple of Ikov, the Tourist Trap, Troll Stronghold, Death Plateau, Priest in Peril, Waterfall Quest, Secrets of the North, Making Friends with My Arm, My Arm's Big Adventure, Eadgar's Ruse, Druidic Ritual, Troll Stronghold, Death Plateau, the Feud, Jungle Potion, Swan Song, One Small Favour, Rune Mysteries, Shilo Village, Garden of Tranquility, Creature of Fenkenstrain, Priest in Peril, the Restless Ghost, Cold War, Romeo & Juliet, the General's Shadow, Curse of the Empty Lord, Fight Arena, Devious Minds, Wanted!, Recruitment Drive, Black Knights' Fortress, the Lost Tribe, Goblin Diplomacy, Doric's Quest, Enter the Abyss, Hazeel Cult, Enakhra's Lament, Temple of the Eye, the Garden of Death, Below Ice Mountain, and His Faithful Servants
Hey Soup,
A very afk money maker I used to do was buy broken dragon hasta's on the GE, slowbuy them over time since the buylimit is low and you don''t want to pay too much for them. Then bring them to Otto at barbarian fishing and have him repair them for free. Sell at GE overtime for some profit. It is definitely a slow process because of the buy limit but it only takes like 5 minutes of actual effort in between buying and selling.
Hey soup idk where else to try and get a message out to you so I’ll do it here, but I had a great idea for a gillenor games challenge. It came to me while fletching but make the contestants fletch 20,000 darts but have the feathers be in the top left of the inventory and the dart tip in the bottom right. Make it a race to see who can concentrate and be the most precise and get 20k darts made.
Rule: no mobile use, has to be on the mouse
always loved your unusual money making methods videos, but I missed the whip intro. keep the the good work
You'll also find that Arctic Pine Logs now drop from Ice Trolls in noted form. It was added to their drop table with the Forestry update.
Farming Yannilian hops is pretty good and worth a shot. Used for mahogany tree protection
"smooth sack summer"
Man... the things they make you say must be soul-sucking
Tbh, the tithe farm zamorak grapes were the only way I knew how to get consistent zammy wines on my ironman. I never imagined it was an unusal method :P
Gz on 300k subs!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
love the money making series, learning lotsa nifty little things that are giving surprising profits; also, funny fact, but selling a full mithril set to the armor shop in jatizo gives *exactly* 8008 gp if they're not under of overstocked, which feels like someone at jagex having a laugh
Gz on 300k Soup !
soup saying vestige like prestige is very funny to me for some reason
I pronoucne pineapples like Mineapolis.
Oh I've heard some weirder ones from people, like gemini being pronounced jam-meany.
My cousin said ambulance like am blee ants
And refrigerator like frijinator
I also find it odd but whats really funny is I've heard multiple, multiple OSRS content creators pronounce it this way. Like guys, it's just vest-ij
that and "suck-u-lus" had me cracking up
So instead of "just get the drop" we have to "just get the drop 3 times"
Knowing my luck, i will never get a vestige
Always enjoy a soup video
Weird moneymaker i have not tried but noticed, its Ale yeast. You can fill a pot for 25GP, and they sell around 800 on GE atm. Not sure how many you could fill per hour, but might work with good setup?
“Smooth sack summer” 😂😂😂😂 im dying
Quote of the year:
“These are my BALLS”… - SoupRS 2023
Congratulations with the 300k, by the way!
You know what soup after all these years. Il subscribe. You deserved it.
About time! This guy is a legend. Thanks for bringing back osrs g
Got Baron at 126 kc last night, can confirm he's adorable! His little flops around following you are the best!
Soup!!! 300,000 subscribers??? Gratz!
Never knew about the staves thing, that’s dope
Bingo on the Tithe Farm, I use it on my GIM for exactly that...and having a stockpile of ranging potions is always a good idea
11:24 I used this method after training with powering orbs😊
my money making used to be buying snails at burge de rott general store and selling at ge for around 500k an hour (if i remember correctly). they take a while to sell sometimes but because its needed for a quest they do always sell
yo soup, you should definitely link the respective videos to the columns on the google docs, so that people can get context on the listed methods
congrats on 300k subs Soup!!
Check out adding strawberries into baskets! Strawberries are under 100gp and a basket containing 5 can sometimes sell for about 900gp. They heal 30 per inventory slot at high levels so there is a demand for them! Not sure how many you can crank out an hour though.
I found that buying bread from the two bakers stands in ardougne (hopping worlds in a pattern to maximize efficiency and fill my inventory) and depositing them at the bank to sell later gained me 200k in an hour! The bread buys for just 12 gp and is worth over 200 on the ge. Literally breadwinning.
Can we get a Desert Treasure II quest guide done easy soon, Soup? Yours and Framed’s guides helped me get the quest cape before, thanks!
Grats on 300k ma boy
What a throwback back Bonbloc logged out 😮
With chambers scouting, you can scale "Megascale" raids which are the Shamans, Mystics, Guardians rooms or that in reverse along with a Tightrope and Thieving puzzle and it sells for anywhere around 10m to 20m depends on how urgently somebody wants it.
I've personally bought that scout before for 20m as theres not a lot of people that scout on Australian worlds
There was a time few years ago where a bunch of cox speedrunners were battling for solo record and i was selling top tier layouts for 5-10m a scout.
dont know if you've done it but i used to hop to the guardians of the rift world and go to the chaos altar and pick up all the runes people would drop there to free an inventory slot. Never tried it with any other runes but used to make quite a bit at the start of the minigame.
Have you ever made the buying alchable items in the g.e. then selling it on the wildy shop?
recently found an interesting unusual money maker, kind of risky as it takes place in wildy but if you kill rogues they quite often drop grimy herb leaves, some of these go for thousands and they don't drop that unoften, killed almost a hundred and in total made 34k from grimy herb leaves alone, and that's ignoring the ones i could clean (lvl 17 herb)
keep an eye out for ranarr weeds as they're worth 6k
sell them on the GE, they sell fast and for a lot, didn't even have to adjust the price, just set it for sale as the guide price and they sold instantly
would like to say, i went there for a slayer task, didn't even go there for the mulah
THE SOUPS OUTTA THE CAN
i didn't know about the wine of zammy grape thing, im about to go sicko mode on my iron with that
The problem with the ring drop is since you don't know when you roll it and you get 300 kills in you can't leave because you're obligated to stay. Because you don't know if you rolled the ring drop at all so if you leave you could be wasting hundreds of millions of coins at current prices for some of them. It took me 671 kills to get my dustige from Duke. The last 300 kills were miserable because I didn't want to be there but I literally could not leave... At least I got the pet
@@shalamaaar duke ate it all :(
the bologa blessing was amazing during twisted league
@12:34 Boints
when is the dt2 quest guide coming? cant do it without you
Missed transition opportunity from ad to next segment: "Now that we're done talking about balls, lets talk about CoX"
LOL damn...
I don't even play OSRS or RS at all but these videos are so interesting
0.54 "not the ring piece" LUL
Learning the new bosses is killing my gp, need more of these asap
I have a tip for the death coffer fees, if you make Chef's Delight Flatpacks in your POH, you can get 5x your investment in death fees when you sacrifice it at Death's Office. Since each flatpack is worth 20k in the GE (although its never actually traded) but only costs a few thousand to make. Plus you get construction XP. Worth trying out :)
@@loiloiloi6 if ur a bit of a higher roller seers rings are like 400k above their coffer rate and warrior rings are also good. I think ge tracker has a coffer table to pick items, but I'm just relaying info I saw from reynold on youtube
this entire time you could just change the element on a staff. wild
Instead of grinding these new bosses it makes me think grinding toa expert for a staff or whatever loot then selling it for the dt2 rewards is likely more efficient. Unless the ring stays at hundreds of millions then maybe not but I bet it comes down to like 40m or who knows eventually.. sadly
Its brand new BIS. Ofc its going to big high. It'll probably stay that way for a couple months before settling at a stable price much lower than the first week of release
When I saw the Duke room I thought the moneymaker was going to be looting inventories of pestle's off the wall lol
Not sure if you talked about Creature Creation in this series yet, but I'm sure people at least know about the Red spiders Eggs you can get from here which is decent for profit/herblore. I'm more interested in killing Jubsters for the Raw Jubbly meat you can sell as it's more unusual. The Raw jubbly you get from them sells at a decent price per meat, albeit rather slowly so this is something you'd probably have to hold in the GE for an overnight buy. The only requirements you need to access them is the Tower of Life Quest and decent combat since they are somewhat high lvl, diary helps in noting the drops as well.
even better, have min requirment for cooking jubbly, if not down stat it via some methods, then try attempt to burn all those jubblys, collectors buy those for like 1-3k pretty decent money
@@nathdablud1 that's roughly how much they sell for on the GE raw too I think. I guess it depends on if you can find a buyer at the time or not in which way is better.
Ironman here, Bologa Blessing's are actually how I get wines for herblore. Its great xp aswell.
i wonder if picking up runes that people drop at guardians of the rift would be decent.
As a level 40 player and since 2007 (new acc since osrs) Currently eating homemade chow Mein, I’m inspired to keep pushing.
Making zammy wines is largely dependent on your farming and cooking levels, given that you have 99 in both it looks deceptively good here. You'll get less grapes harvested and some will spoil.
Whats the name of the song at 9:22 please? I stg Ive heard that beat elsewhere
I'm confused, how is the vestige drop any different from just getting the drop normally? Are you guaranteed the drop after a certain amount of kills? you say it's bad luck prevention, but it seems like it's just a drop you need to hit 3 times to actually get
It makes the distribution of drops more reliable. You are less likely to get extremely lucky or go extremely dry, even though the average number of the drop, in the long term, remains the same.
Let's say, for example, that you wanted an item to have a mean drop rate of 300kc; you could either do a traditional 1/300 per kc, or require 3 drops of 1/100 per kc. For either design, on average in the long term, you get 1 item per 300kc. At 600kc, for a 1/300 you have a 86.5% chance of getting at least one drop; whereas for the 3 x 1/100 version, you have a 93.9% chance of getting at least three drops. Conversely, at 150kc, for the 1/300 version you have 39.4% chance of getting at least one drop, and for the 3 x 1/100 version you have a 19.1% chance of getting at least three drops.
The more pieces you divide your item into, the closer the distribution trends towards the mean, with the logical endpoint making it so that you need X components with a 1 in 1 drop rate (guaranteed at a given kc, like with the vorkath head or KQ head).
@@Ryan_Richter ahhh I see, thank you for the detailed explanation!
Haunted Mine - Dropping Glowing Fungus for Ashes.
Tried looking over the list and didn't see it, have you tried obtaining and selling mith grapples from the Armadyl section in GWD via drop trick?
I can say with utmost certainty this profit won't be worth it, but it would be odd.
You should do essence running and bone running: easily multiple m per hour
You should do picking up dragon bitters from the spot beside vorkath!
Soup, you should give Barbarian Assault high gambles a try. High gambles are surprisingly 400k/hr and even more the more efficient you get.
You dont need to equip the magic secatures anymore, they work from the inventory too =)
picking up people's dropped manta rays at fishing trawler
I've done the Zamorakian grapes on my ironman, really enjoyed the interactive and different method of obtaining Zammy wines but if you're looking at collecting them for seconds, it's completely overshadowed by the amount you get per hour with the mindnumbing process of just telegrabbing them... Really disappointing, the yield for the effort should really be higher - I hope Jagex buff it.
He really said "smooth sack summer" lmfao
Great Video Man!!!!
this video was very soothing for some reason =)
the new drop mechanic also makes everything else on the drop table significantly rarer, for some reason everybody exclude this information from this flawlesss awesome anti dry streak super duper drop mech
How? Not being sarcastic just haven't followed rs in a few months so I'm not sure exactly how it works
@@joeanderson6811 the uniques share the drop table
normally lets say you play cox and you roll unique you actually get item from drop table
here if you are lucky/unlucky ,depending on what you are trying to get, you either get item or you roll ring and get nothing instead
not only this is essentially anti-spoon mechanic for rings and makes the grind for the ring more of a kill count chore, but also makes everything else on the drop table rarer + right now its specullated that these pretty dog niche ring upgrades are around 50 hour grind
imo jagex shit the bed once again with this one
13:30 uh what the price shown is lower than the grapes lol
With the pine logs, it looked faster to pick up the 3 (not 5) and hop.
Raids scouting is a complex money maker that can make up to 25m an hour if you really tune into the market and are well networked with speed runners, CA'ers, and boosters. SMG/GMS is the most valuable combo if you get an SF or FS start with Tighrope+Thieving combo. They routinely sell 5-15m, and bidding wars can push them to up to 30m. The next most lucrative raid is VTV or VTV reverse, which sell 500k-5m, depending if its record Crope, and market conditions. All other combinations will only sell for 500k to 2m and usually aren't worth holding if they don't insta-sell. Basically you want to scout exclusively for VTV or SMG/GMS. Get to know the raiders who routinely buy these layouts. Take note if they buy UK, East, or West. Do your scouting according to whose online. if you see a bunch of boosters on UK worlds, scout for SMG/GMS on UK. If you see a bunch of speed runners on west, scout for VTV on west US. Hold the most desirable raids until there becomes a market for them. Scouting on multiple alt accounts is optimal, that way if you get a good layout, you can hold it a few hours until someone willing to pay 15m comes around. If you get connected enough, people will message you that they're looking to buy and to PM them as soon as you find something good. Many boosters will buy multiple SMG/GMS layouts in advanced to have a constant pipeline of mega scaled raids going.
An additional money maker is to scale other peoples raids for 500k per account. Many mega scalers will post they're looking for 10-50 scalers at 500k a pop. The more alts you have, the more you reap from these opportunities.
What is the point of buying a raid for 30m when the amount of raids you need to do will end up making you zero profit.
Is it just so people who aren't good at the game don't have to learn how to do certain rooms? Like the same people buying inferno capes and fire capes need an easy mode raid as well? I mean that makes sense why the other raids have baby modes so you guys can actually complete them.
@@bloodredroses88 Megascaled raids give you a 60% chance at a purple. Boosters sell this service to people who are looking to expedite their Ironman progress. A mega scaler will pay 5-30m for the raid layout, then sell their raids boosting service to an interested party for hundreds of millions.
The capitalization inconsistencies tho 😂
That tax joke hit hard bro…..
I’m still preaching my ashes money maker, where you burn logs (72 gp) and sell ashes (97 gp)
Only problem is it takes a while
I also have a money maker I have seen no people using, but it’s in the wilderness so I wanna be safe while I do it since I don’t think a f2p with 53 combat levels and rune armor (chainbody since I haven’t done dragon slayer) could take a higher level player
Not sure if you've covered this one but killing Spidines in the tower of life is like 660k per hour.
abyssal ashes sell for 2000gp as of rn and are frequently left by people killing abyssal demons a full stack is worth 48k so it might be a unusual profitable money maker.
In theory, could someone receive a ring piece on 3kc?
if they do, they should go play every lottery. I doubt we'll see that happen.
A person has received COX pet and Tbow 1kc so it will eventually happen given enough time assuming new accounts keep doing it for a while.
Purely theoretically, 3kc is the min for the ring.
Killing giant frogs in lumbridge swamp for giant frog legs might get u some decent money if u can kill them quickly 🤔
FYI wine of zamorak is not it's final form.
It's a divine range potion. Great try though.
