Hey all, just wanted to make a point of clarification regarding Lightning Run Skipping: You can run skip the special from any side. You don't need to go to the specific tile I discuss in the video here, I simply suggest that one to ensure that, while learning, all of your special attacks will start in the same location. When you get more comfortable with the boss, you can choose where to start the spec as you see fit. With that said, I would still recommend AVOIDING the Northwest corner of the room so you dont accidentally block the orb spawn. Also, if you ARE following the specific tiles I have outlined here, just make sure you pay attention to what special attack is being used so that you can avoid any boulders landing on it during that special.
It's possible to infer the special attack based on placement of boulders after first phase. If a random boulder falls in the middle of the western side (eg 1:06), the special attack will always be lightning. If a random boulder falls in the middle of the north side (eg 1:16), the special attack will always be fast boulders.
@@lolsword7 Holy cow, really??? That's a really cool tip. I'll have to learn a bit more how that works and then I can add something into the video as a tag. Thanks for the heads up!!
Thank you!! I was working on a Whisperer quick tip video as well but my computer unfortunately died so it'll be a few more days before I can get that out after I sort the situation out.
When attempting to start the Lightning Skip from that NE tile, most of the time his head turns the opposite way. Your video says to wait until he is facing east but he is also rotating counter clockwise in your video whereas I find most of the time when I attack his weak spot from that tile, he starts turning clockwise. How do I get him to turn the way you show in your video?
@@adrianquetschke I did stop having that issue, not sure what fixes it. It is probably based on the tile that you stun him on. If that is the case, try to stun him on the South side before you run around to the NE corner.
Void could be good if you're killing this with a budget setup. Something like xbow or possibly tbow without masori. Would need to check the accuracy and prayer bonus differences though with a dps calc before making the switch. Since bofa is such an affordable setup, and its essetially bis, most people run crystal here.
From my personal tests, Tbow is fine for regular Leviathan, but Bowfa feels way better. Now, if youre doing Awakened, thats a different story! That said, if you have a tbow and dont own a bowfa, I wouldnt say you need to go buy a bowfa for this boss.
@@Screamn. I got 18 kc so far, got it down but the amount of effort to get a kill is just too much for me. Especially enrage phase. definitely gonna keep camping it but it’s just tedious af.

Great video, will surely help me smooth out my kills
Instead of 1 tile walking each tile you can ctrl click once

If it’s a max hit thing and defense isn’t important, why not use void?
Void would likely be better for the final part of the fight. However, I doubt it's worth all the switches as the phase does not last long

Is tbow really that bad here? Didn't even get a mention lol
