Have an ICE SPrint X 26Tour . With a rohloff hub and 44-32-22 chainrings with 47mm Marathon plus tires , it didn't have issues climbing hills with low gear inches of about 13 compared to my Ultegra Di2 bicycle of 28 gear inches. Max grade I climbed was over 25% , my speed reduced to 1 mph. The issue I had though was that it climbed half as fast as my bicycle, so had a bafung 250Watt motor put on it with a 47 chainring. It now climbs faster than my bicycle and blows it away down hills, the best of both worlds. On max assist, I get over 50 miles per battery.
Visited the shop today . Nice to be able to ride and see these machines in person . " They " say , go with the one that feels right , speaks to you . For me today , it was the Sprint Tour . Wow , what a ride . I want to send a TY out to Vinny for the time spent today . I will for sure be in touch ..
Congrats on your new trike! You will certainly love it. Unfortunately, yes very tough right now for the cycling industry with delays all over the world. Happy Cycling!

Glad you're enjoying the ride!

Thanks for the comparison. I did notice the seats were in the fully “up” position on both trikes so could be reclined a lot more
Yes so important to find that perfect comfort level while still being able to hold good performance.
The larger rear wheel allows the frame to clear the ground - to prevent frame damage from potholes and uneven road surfaces.
Yes, i purchased the sprint x tour from icetrikes about 3 weeks ago.. can't get it until july unfortunately.. 16week delay.

I am looking
Have an ICE Sprint X 26 tour , last year it was about 6 weeks estmated delay. For the ICE VTX I just ordered , 3 week estimate.
What about the adventure with a 26 inch rear wheel?
Really random question ... what rack did you have on the back of the Sprint X 26". I don't think I've seen one like that before.
Not random at all, we actually get this question often... They were custom Bike-On trike racks we used to make & sell.
Is the shop open on weekends?
Depends on the season, but you can make an appointment for the weekend :)
Do you have the sprint tour with electric available??
Liz, we'd love to help. Please email info@bike-on.com.

Unfortunately the suspension of all ICE trikes are inadequate. They need to add gas shocks.
Rubbish! You probably haven't got it set up right for your weight. Different elastomers or repositioning is most likely needed.
