It's a good build, though RAW the polearm master enter reach attack does not trigger for your echo. Going BM will give you an even bigger first round, with the extra BM dice, og Champion fighter for that extended crit range. 😊
I like it. Though echo knight seems like it might make it too bonus action heavy to add a lot of value. It's probably not until at least the 2nd round that you could swap places with it, or 3rd if it's not manifested before combat (and hasn't destroyed before the turn) and the extra echo risks drawing aggro toward it [which will destroy it if AOE doesn't take it out first, requiring a BA to set it up again which could have been used for PAM attack], and it only grants you 3 uses until you boost con at level 12 or later [considering you'd still have 16 str] I think I'd prefer the versatility of battle master here for more maneuvers and superiority dice. Ambush could make your bugbear surprise attack more likely; lunging attack could get you 5' more reach should you need it; goading could draw aggro; maneuvering could cover a lot of spaces for assisting your allies; pushing for +15' distance
This is just a basic barbarian fighter Sentinel + PAM combo. Like, I get that its a good build, thats why its cliche, but still...Idk, just feels like these builds used to have more personality to them. Stuff to do outside of just rolling more die, some weirder multiclasses to some different things. This is just the old feat combo + hit things more.
Was excited for this but then saw Echo Knight..I'm just..not a fan of it. But I do like Giant Barbarian on Bugbear. I'd prob do this with just a different subclass on fighter..
I kinda like Battle Master for this. Ambush would basically let you add a d8 to your Initiative rolls at will. 😈 Of course, Rune Knight would be *VERY* thematically appropriate and would give you the equivalent of a "Rage Lite" several times per day. 😉
Note that the sneaky feature lets you move through spaces large enough for a small creature... Even if you're large. Or huge.
Great point! That's an awesome addition to call out!
So basically, Bugbears can turn liquid like a cat
I'd would love to see what is the scariest Grung build you can do^^
You mean Surprise Attack at around 5:30, not Sneak Attack, easy tongue tie to make.

Giant are lit. My favorite playable race are the Firbolgs!
I did this, it is very fun!

I love this build!
What happened to sage?

Yeah I think I would either go PAM battlemaster or GWM EK. PAM EK don't have good synergy
Besides that, I love it
