For a beginner, Kali Linux is the best OS to learn simple hacking tools on, but not everyone has access to a machine that can run it. However, with over 2 billion Android smartphones around the world, chances are you already have a device capable of running Kali. Today, we'll show you how to download and run Kali Linux on any Android device, unrooted, in this episode of Cyber Weapons Lab.

While you can use your favorite keyboard for most of the tasks when running Kali on Android, an app like Hacker's Keyboard is more helpful. Even better, a Bluetooth keyboard: www.amazon.com...
We're not replacing Android with the Kali operating system, it will be accessible like any other app on Android. To do this, we'll be installing an SSH client such as JuiceSSH or ConnectBot, then the UserLAnd application that will create and run the Kali filesystems.

If you want to see really good videos on everything regarding Cisco certifications including CCNA check out the channel Network Chuck, you cant miss him he has a huge beard. The videos aren't boring like most of the training video's you will find out there. He even documents his brother studying for and taking the tests, down to him trying to get out there in the workforce looking for an entry level position. I dont think we'll ever see CCNA tutorials on Null-Byte but I am sure he will apply the material he is learning for improving this channel. Understanding networking is 1 of the keys to pentesting, in order to break things you have to understand how they work first. I actually didn't even know he was going for that cert but I guarantee it will only make this channel better.

Thanks bro it works. I mean im not excited because i used linux in termux and it had a lot of errors like permission denied or like so. But just wanna say that if i command sudo in termux it will ask me if i am root. But in this method i can use it and you're coding harder because you're using sudo in every root command. But you better try the command "sudo su" and you don't need to type sudo in every command. Apreciate it👍🏻

Heres a tip: when using the terminal you can use the command -sudo bash- to stay in root so you dont have to type sudo for your commands

What commands that worked on phone?
Just a note, the install wouldn't take on my LG Arsito MS210 so I rooted it and it ended up working great.
Great vid, Userland took forever to install Kali but it completed without errors .👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I can see you were struggling with not having root access , adding sudo every time can get tedious . Probably would be a good idea to create a short alias for sudo since it's going to be used so often, and the fact that you cannot add yourself to the sudoers file. Another app that functions similarly is AnLinux which serves the same purpose but is specific to Termux. Which is my SSH client and server for my droid, I highly recommend it. You can also install operating systems directly from the terminal. Another important part of this tutorial that was wasn't mentioned is your keyboard selection. Your going to want all of your keys , including the arrows, tab for auto complete, and other keys not native to the android or gboard keyboards. So, What you want is the "Hackers Keyboard" (free in the playstore) which is great for ssh & a good virtual on screen keyboard all around to get the most out of your Kali install. Has anyone tried the VNC version, I am curious if the graphical environment is buggy or lagging. An app like this would be great on that Blackberry that runs droid for graphical sessions with touch and the blackberry still having its physical keybord ⌨. Also I am curious of how much space this install took up on my device if anyone knows that would be helpful.
it still wont work with sudo because the underlying OS doesnt give you root access in the first place.
@@Ulyssestnt yea I tried installing all the packages on kali but it said I needed to have Superuser phone, cause my phone not rooted, Do you know how to manually root an android phone without using Magisk and rebooting into recovery mode? I'm pretty stuck here man.
@@joseskoolii2761 You need to flash a new rooted ROM to your phone,use TWRP..
I know how frustrating it can be to figure out for sure my man.
It all depends if you can find the right ROM for your model,if so the rest is pretty straightforward.
Remember to do backups of anything important .
After its flashed to the phone,then install busybox and superuser, import all of the kali nethunter packets ,establish chroot etc.

Well, it would be a bit counterproductive, if you cannot put wifi into monitor mode, to install Kali. So the question is really important: can we do that? How to check?

Is there a list of tools available that work within the limits on a phone/tablet and userland? The whole aircrack-ng suite for example runs, but doenst work, since you cant set your antenna into monitor mode..and i dont think userland supports and external osb-otg antenna. So, many tools "run" but dont work

Also if you want to proxy your attacks through tor on termux , do this: tor -f /data/data/com.termux/files/usr/etc/tor/torrc

Yepp, just choose VNC instead of SSH, and install an environment. That's it.

so all at once: "sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade"
or one after the other:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Update fetches the latest update packages
Upgrade actually installs them

Are you in IT field or do you have any background in IT at all? if not then it's totally normal for you to not understand or maybe you're just not familiar with linux. Take a 10 or 20 minutes linux tutorial and it'll be a piece of cake

Could you do a tutorial on how BLE-mesh devices sniffing works? i bought a magic blue 2018 light from ali express but they work with encryption in a way i dont understand! ive sniffed the on/of command and it is a different value everytime. ive found some code on the internet but all the commands are in chineze :(. Ive found out that is has something to do with the ltk and they use a old/new password for something. so i think thats the way why everytime the value is different because they AES encrypt it in a way.
