    Hey Guys, you hit it out off the park with this vid. The ref's to last year really showed how hard they were hit. The Lions Den was hit hart and its great to see how they have bounced back.Safe Travels

      G’day mate, thanks heaps. It was even great for us to just look back and see the comparison from this year to last. Still blown away by how much water must have passed through this area.
      Thanks heaps as always for the support you legend. 👍

    Great vid guys. One of my faves so far. Loved seeing the LY and TY comparisons. 😮. We were one of those people years ago who waited and waited for the rain to stop but ended up going around the long way. Keep these great eps coming 😊

    Great Video Guys. As you know, I love All things weather and seeing firsthand the aftermath of that amount of water is mind blowing. Can you just imagine seeing it in full flood through those Forest Creeks.. It would have been insane. I always look up into the trees to see the Stuck debris which can give an indication of how high the water got to.

      Hey mate, thank you so much. Wouldn’t it be a sight to actually see it running through the hills and creeks. It seems so different to the Pilbara getting that much rain, I assume it is because the Pilbara is so flat that you don’t see it as much as this coming from the hills.
      Yeah I was looking around for debris in the tree but couldn’t see anything in this area unfortunately.
      Thanks again mate, hope you are well. 👍

    Another great episode thanks Beau and Maddi. To see what the track was like last year compared to now was amazing. A credit to you both for capturing this and showing the damage this huge low pressure system created over this area. Keep up the great work and looking forward to your adventures as you head further north

    It's a fantastic thought that the rainforest can and will heal itself within a few years. Never got that far unfortunately but it's on the list for next time. Great raw upload again guys, love it! Yoshi

      Absolutely I’m sure it’s not the first time this area has been affected and you can guarantee it won’t be the last. Such a beautiful area up this way and amazing to explore, hopefully you will be able to tick this off the bucket list in no time. 👍

    Do you know if any caravans have been through since reopening?

    • @chasingdreamsau
      @chasingdreamsau  16 днів тому +1

      We heard of one getting stuck on the local pages blocking traffic for ages. But no never seen or been told of one going through with an actual van. 👍

    It looked fairly easy ! Do you feel like it’s capable in a 2wd?

      @chasingdreamsau  26 днів тому

      To be honest, Yes... But depending on the water crossing levels and the time.
      If you have something with a little bit of clearance you should be fine.
      Hope you get the chance to get up there and explore that beautiful part of the world!
