Great part about boarding enemy ships is if you can hack their engineering console, you can bring their max power usage to nothing, and the AI doesn't know how to respond.
This series is fantastic.
I'm really loving the teamwork needed for this, and how you can actually control and push buttons IN the ship!

how to truly play Pulsar:
1. get enemy shields down
2. board enemy ship
3. rush enemy's Engineering
4. shut down enemy's power
5. attempt to destroy reactor core
6. die for your team, knowing you have about 1000 clones on bank
7. team destroys enemy because they couldn't do anything.

I'm really liking this new series, I just hope it doesn't get ended as abruptly as Empyrion Galactic Survival.
Anyone else notice how an old abandoned ship with, I don't know, maybe a super soldier in hypersleep and a deteriorating computer was at 117? master chief's number and where he was between halos 3 to 4 must be a subtle reference to halo. what else could it be, massive coincidence? maybe, but I like my theory better.
I love games like this. I hope it doesn't end soon.
They should get the entire Yogscast to play Pulsar in the same server, put them in their own teams (ships) and make that a series.

I honestly thought it was a bad idea to have Sjin the Troll in it, especially at engineering, but he is doing pretty good. Only minimal trollage.

How many possible stations are there?! Helm, Systems, Engineering, as well as at least 4 combat roles? As well as transporting/combat and general "captaining"? If you were going to play this game "seriously", it seems like you could easily have a crew of 10 or more with everyone still having something to do.
Basically it's FPS FTL. Neat.
This game can be played with 5 people: A captain, pilot, weapons specialist, engineer, and scientist. Nobody does scientist.
