This band is TOO good live...they put on such an emotional performance. They always leave you wanting more and more from them. I hope they come back to Texas again soon.
+Mike Seddon could be he left the band originally to become a certified teacher one of the main reasons they broke up. Also his brother(drummer) was about to graduate art school among the other reasons they broke up then wonderfully got back together
Unbelievably good gig. The guys are there just to play beacause of their passion for the music, and not to be political chess pieces or infamous rockstars. The crowd are respectable; notice the stavediving doesn't effect the bandmembers at all, they don't try to distract or irritate them (remember Rou Reynold's groping experience). Brilliant sound quality and recording. Brilliant atmosphere.
@@Iconic_Zoot You're joking right? This was their last show after they announced their hiatus, and crickets was the last song of the show. Andrew and Alex were smiling. Ronan stage dived after the song was over. They were loving it. It was pure energy and emotion at that point, no shit the crowd went mental.
I miss basement so much i was fortunate enough to meet them at the TSSF show at the gilman and see them later that month in Sacramento on their fare-well tour.
What I love about this gig is that NO ONE is holding any DEVICE...they are just Crowdsurfing, Stagediving, singing along... Just like the old days. *EDIT*: every now and then I receive a complain because of this comment that I wrote in 2013, so just to be CLEAR, I specifically wrote 'WHAT I LOVE' not 'WHAT EVERYONE SHOULD LOVE' so if you like to have a bunch of little screens blocking your view from seeing the band that you willingly paid to see with YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY (specially with this economy) then BE MY GUEST…or you can chill and be present. Namaste
saw basement after they got back together but not before and it's evident to me that this is where the real raw energy that i wanted see them for was... wish i could've been there, what a beautiful and emotionally charged performance
Here's a setlist in case anyone cares: -Whole -Covet -Fading -Earl Gray -Canada Square -Pine -Bad Apple -March -Plan To Be Surprised -Yoke -Breathe -Spoiled -Control -Gray Scale -Comfort -Wish -Crickets Throw Their Voice
That Bass tone is fucking amazing...
Whoever covered audio for the mixing of this recording is a genius! Such a clean, crisp, beautiful sound!
You can thank Sam Pura (Panda Studios) for that!
too many gigs ruined by shit sound engineers. kudos sam for doing your job right!
***** Thanks Sam!
***** Thanks sam
***** Thanks Sam! Awesome job!
i come back years later to admire this set list
basically the entire wish I could stay here album, which I love dearly
@@hitokiriibattousaii for real. I love this whole band.
It's time again, come on
That bass tone tho. Holy shit.
Forreal
Sam Pura is a got damn mastermind.
Tube cab, new strings, jazz bass neck pickup, mids scooped, treble slightly boosted, some drive
17:30 his nose got hit by mic and he was only laughing not even angry or something that makes so adorable
Perfect. Coming back to this years later and realizing how rare a show like this is now.
take me back :(
you haven't seen Outbreak Fest 2022 ??
BASEMENT x CITIZEN tour.....that would be dream!!!!!
GOD YES
+Winston McCall FUCK YEAH
Look at the tour dates they just dropped today. Basement, Citizen and souvenirs
hope ya'll went out and saw them!! they sounded so damn good together. great show
I can't stop watching this video. There's something about the stage presence and that small venue that makes it look so perfect. Feels like I'm there.
Not a phone in sight

@@Caileanlad yeah a bit to much maybe

This band is TOO good live...they put on such an emotional performance. They always leave you wanting more and more from them. I hope they come back to Texas again soon.
the main singer used to be my R.E teacher in 2015, he left to join his band again
+Atique Mahmud i dont think this is true
+Mike Seddon could be he left the band originally to become a certified teacher one of the main reasons they broke up. Also his brother(drummer) was about to graduate art school among the other reasons they broke up then wonderfully got back together
@@mrSneakyNinja2 I know it's late, but you're totally right, I am three years older and wiser now.
What is R.E?
Fuck4 Hours Religious Education. it’s also about morality, belief and values in culture and society
this is the most emotionally stimulating performance i've ever seen
I can feel the energy in this place through the video
And now they got back together and I can only celebrate by listening to this on repeat!
2020 and still listening this live
Same. I’ve been reminiscent on these times a lot lately. I miss it
Me and some buds gonna do a cover for a gig soon of covet
Just discovered this band and all I can say is: GENIUS
Ill never forget watching this over and over again and still continue to watch this show in particular because it was supposed to be there last show
That bass sound is orgasmic.

I was smiling the whole time watching this. Perfection. Love them.
this has been here since 2013? I am so beyond late and yet the genius of this recording that energy you cannot get that ANYWHERE else!
This is still one of the greatest sets of all time I always find myself coming back to this year after year 🙌🏼
I stumbled across this band surfing youtube a few months ago. knew right away they were going to be one of my favorites
i'm from chile and basement is my favorite band, this is amazing..
im chilean too, and i cant get enough of this band.
marry me :l ?

The crowd doesnt fuck up the performance till Crickets at the end
khaki cuffs punk music is not about the performance it’s about the passion and energy
@@greywestbrook2586 Tell that to Andrew after he got practically jumped and had his mic stolen by the crowd during Crickets.

Where the hell have I been with this video on the internet? Holy shit. The mix, the quality, the energy, next level. I love this
I'm so happy
This is just perfect. Intense performance, sick vocals (especially Covet!!) and the best live sound quality i've ever heard.
Forgot about this band for years. But goddamn they still hit just as hard. 2011-2015 title fight and basement era ♥️
This is why I love this band especially when they play in live sets. Andrew always improvises and makes the song much more nicer than it already is!
I miss basement so much i was fortunate enough to meet them at the TSSF show at the gilman and see them later that month in Sacramento on their fare-well tour.
They could be a band from the 90's
Cool style
but they are not, they are here in our doldrum

Eliot FM wow i didn’t even notice that til you pointed that out
I think the found out that there are cameras that actually record the entire performance
I wish people would quit posting this hackneyed ass shit in comments. Yeah, we get it, people hold phones at shows now. We understand.
@@kingcobrajfsofficial thank you!
Apart from the people in the crowd filming the gig on their phones?
Come to Brazil this year!
