I don’t think we see Sandman, Carnage, Mysterio this game. They have to save some heavy hitters for the next games. There is a slight chance we see one of these villans in a dedicated DLC. But I think they should save them. I think this game should end with whoever is the goblin turn into the goblin. I think we could see Morbius as well.
I don't think Carnage shoupd be there for the next game, I think he should just be in a DLC where you hunt down Cletus Casady, then he becomes Spoopy Carnage and he Carnages you. Either that or he's an side-mission for the next game.

Carnage is about mass destruction anyone in his path has to die. They probably couldn’t even do carnage cause everyone would die and it’s pretty graphic. Maybe they do a venom game where he could be the villain but carnage certainly isn’t a side quest villain.
They won't have Carnage here. Overcomplicates the Venom story to throw Carnage in that quick. But Sandman? Mysterio? They aren't big enough to necessitate a game to themselves. Especially Mysterio I could see working as a supporting villain or side quest chain, like Tombstone in the last game. That said, they seem to have a theme more or less for this one. Darker, more monstrous. More likely Morbius will show up I think. They seem to be heading towards a trilogy, finishing with Green Goblin. I think Mysterio would likely be a good fit for that game.

With the Kraven Trailer (the one that shows his hit-list on the tablet) we know that these Villains( alongside Venom and Kraven hinself) are confirmed for the game: -Black Cat -Prowler -Tombstone -Kingpin -Lizard -Shocker -Taskmaster -Wraith With 13 Villains in the 1st game and 5 in Miles (with Kingpin and Rhino being the only overlapping ones) it think we will end up with around 15-18 villains in this game. So with the ones confirmed that leaves only 5-8 Villains slots to fill so my pcks would be : -Sandman (one of hs biggest and most iconic villains and was been teasted) -Chamelon (an inconic villains that has been teased and has ties to Kraven who s confirmed) -Mysterio (one of hs biggest and most iconic villains and was been teasted)) -Hobgoblin (would be cool to see soething like the 90s show where Hobgoblin is the tester of the Goblin tech before Norman becomes the Green Goblin) -The Rose (Kngpins son and would be intersting story wise to see the effects of Kingpin being in jail and his son tryng to recalin his dads control over the city and would add in those bases around the city to fight waves of goons in) -Silvermane (Big mobboss character so pleanty of goons to fight and a robotic suit and he is Silver Sables dad so there could be a storyline that brngs her back for the misson) -Vermin (just a referance to Kraens Big Hunt) -Sin Eater (Would be nice to have a similar set to to the comics for Venoms origin)

I would love to see a juggernaut boss fight in both Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. I think it would be so cool to see the same boss but having to fight him as two different heroes since he is both a Spider-Man and an X-men villain.

What if they include a plot twist that Yuri isnt a vigilante, but Cletus Cassidy is picking out easy targets to "practice" on. While Cletus is running after a victim near Oscorp, where they have an updated version of the symbiote, he attaches and becomes Carnage?
I think a great addition to the villains in spiderman 2 would be the beetle as he has a relation to the shocker who will be in the game and I think he would fit the theme of like hunting from kraven. We also know taskmaster is gunna be in the game (hope is he improved this time) and he could hire beetle to collect a sample of the venom symbiote like in the comics, perhaps to study it or something but yeah beetle would be a great addition
Also in terms of Jack O Lantern and when Spider-Man 2 takes place, I’ve heard it takes place 9 to 10 months after Miles Morales, so it could literally be October or about to be October in-game, so Jack O Lantern wouldn’t feel so out of place.

As much as i would love the Goblin. I think he's not gonna show up in this game. As it is almost clear, there will be 3 host for the Symbiote. 1 is going to be Harry, the Venom with no logo, as we see him at the end of the first game, 2 is going to be obiouvsly Peter Parker, and 3 is going to be the Venom with the logo, who i think is Norman Osborn. It would make sense, after Harry death Norman would take the symbiote planning revenge on Spider man, but will in the end get defeated. Leading him then to turn in the Goblin in 3rd game. I think it just makes sense.
For the green goblins my questions is who because the green goblin Can be Harry I wanna know how they play it out like if they would make them a duo green goblin & hob goblin or what idk

I've said that before; have Cletus as just a baseline serial killer, and have the spiders catch him as setup for a future appearance as Carnage.
If Insomniac makes a solo Venom game then they gotta make Carnage the main antagonist in the spin off game.
