Appreciate as always! I think you should play with those builds, because almost every car i saw here struggles in the last gears (needs more hp, even if the torque might be good). The R8 it's just broken, if you do the same race two times, each time in the exact same way, the 1st time with a meta car, the second time with the R8, you'll end the second race about 10 seconds faster than the time of the 1st race🤷♂️
Not to be contrarian but I'm often fastest with centrifugal supercharger or dual turbo + drift tires for drifty race builds. When drifting u are in the high RPM range so the centri/turbo gives you the most power (sometimes you need an extra gear tho for a tigher gear ratio, like a 5sp instead of the 4sp on the RX7). Drift tires are actually fast and has less tendency to snap oversteer.
@@defnotatroll the 690 bhp 3.8l flat 6. I'm currently at a max potential of 691 bhp(I can't even make 400+ in s+) with the stock engine for the v-spec but that engine comes with 690 stock with a 819 bhp potential

If you're decent at driving just play races on the PVP Mode, that's the fastest way to farm money (if you manage to keep getting 1rs or 2nd). Other way to farm money: do linkups (those green event in Free Roaming), but to me those are just a waste of time and unfun (if you keep getting 1st in full 8 players playlist you can farm more money than doing empowered linkups, and to me it's just more enjoyable). To unlock cars: use the PVP Mode.
