This is wild I swear I found this channel not that long ago and it wasn’t averaging that many views/likes at all and now he’s in the MILLIONS. That’s amazing, good shit 👏🏾
One important note: if you dropped your phone in a pool or the ocean anywhere but freshwater, you MUST rinse it with fresh water before doing this. If your phone is water resistant STILL RINSE IT. Chemicals used to keep pools clean and salt in salt water are corrosive and will eat away both at water resistant seals and at contact pads for charging. This means if you let them stay on there and dry the phone it can hurt your ability to charge, ruin water resistance in the future, or even make its way all the way into the phone. But the best tip of course is to always be careful with your phone around water. Even if it claims some water resistance you never know and it's better to be safe than sorry.
Deminaralised water first then use isopropyl alcohol so most of the liquid will vaporise on its own. Maybe this packet trick if you really want it dry dry.
@@CodingCorvus absolutely this is best practice, but at the very minimum the actively harmful water needs to be removed from the phone. And if your phone is IP X8 water resistant you can probably get away with just rinsing it but you cannot skip this step altogether.

Also realize that most flagship phones since like 2018 can be taken literally diving with you and function just fine, just don’t plug it in for a while.
Just use isopropyl alcohol. It's quite an easy concept that what damages your phone is the minerals in the water. Isopropyl dissolves the minerals and dries quickly. If you dropped your phone in a water without minerals more than likely your phone will be fine. That's where this becomes a bit more practical. But, the best choice is isopropyl to prevent taking it to a repair shop and getting overcharged.
speed up the drying process by putting it somewhere warm. Silica absorbs humidity essentially so the faster it vaporizes, the faster you have a phone. (warm, not hot, right next to a computer/console works great.)

Computers, Laptops, and Tablets all exist. And if you can't get the silica gel packets or you don't have any, just go to a fucking repair shop.
If drop your $1200 phone in water you better have insurance or run your tail down to the cell repair guy.
Buy them first, dingus. Desiccants are always useful
Amazing video. U just earned a sub
Welcome aboard! Thanks for your support
If the speaker doesn't work or it still has water in it, play Straykids' Side effects and Miroh, it would yeet the water fr
Whoa ooo whoa ooo whoa HIGHERRRR

Why do I feel like he’d be my best friend in highschool
Why is this so true?!
Yeah but why was bros legs like that in the beginning 😂
The refraction of the water made his legs look that way basically bending light
This is wild I swear I found this channel not that long ago and it wasn’t averaging that many views/likes at all and now he’s in the MILLIONS. That’s amazing, good shit 👏🏾
Thanks to people like you!
This worked for me. Thank you so much !!!
I just dropped my phone in the bathtub and searched you up on my phone. thanks a lot.
Bro what
Android user?
but how your phone is dead
@@tsaijason8470its not

Tysm
Even better rinse it in 95%+ isopropyl alcohol
Isopropyl alcohol works even better.
That one mf phone that battery can't be removed -😂💀

@@will_gax5072 yeah they got rid of those 8 years ago. I thought my phone was old and it's from 2018.
Samsung doesn't have the problem as bassicly every new one has water resistance for up to 30 minutes in 2 meters depth

The phone he shows in the video is actually an IP68 rated phone, so it doesn't make a lot of sense

“How to fix a water resistant phone once its been in water” 😂 im missing something
Because it’s resistant not invincible or immune
@Frog Universe *IP68 water resistant, soo it can withstand being submerged for like 30 minutes at like 1.5 meters.
So it seems you're the one actually missing something.🧠🧠
@@burjanbalint1433 this is true. I think only phone nerds know this. Almost every person I tell that their phone is water resistant doesn’t believe me. Even though I willingly put my phone in water to demonstrate lol
@@burjanbalint1433 pretty sure your right, my dad has a water resistant phone he once dropped it in the pool it stayed in there for like 5 seconds though put when he got it out it was completely fine
it’s water resistant not water proof
I am watching these clips for his positive vibe. The tips are only a bonus.
Yeah this guy gives off good vibes
iPhones have a water eject shortcut that uses a series of sounds to eject water from the speaker ports
Technically all phones has that feature, there's a ton of apps or even videos for that.
Samsung was yhe one to start that. I can't remember if it was the S7 or S8 that started that.
All phones have had this for years lol
that is only for the waterproof phones
Thank you so much this really helped
,,24 hours later" got me 💀

Yoo thank you so much its so helpful
I just have to say how proud I am to see the growth of your channel. You're such a genuine and amazing person and your content is no nonsense, honest, and so helpful. Congratulations!!!
Also realize that most flagship phones since like 2018 can be taken literally diving with you and function just fine, just don’t plug it in for a while.
Kids these days don't understand the horror of jumping in the pool and feeling your phone in your pocket.
“Or if it won’t turn on, power it down”

Thanks!😊

Use a laptop
Good point.
@@JayGamingOfficial what if u dropped them in water aswell 🫢
Bro…
"Put it in *R I C E* "

Just use isopropyl alcohol. It's quite an easy concept that what damages your phone is the minerals in the water. Isopropyl dissolves the minerals and dries quickly. If you dropped your phone in a water without minerals more than likely your phone will be fine. That's where this becomes a bit more practical. But, the best choice is isopropyl to prevent taking it to a repair shop and getting overcharged.
Those silica gel packs can be recharged too. Toss em in the oven at like 175F for a few hours. Should be good as new!
"You can buy them online"

if the only thing you can use for online shopping is your phone, then you’re probably too poor to order anyway

Sorry mate, but you can't convince me that rice isn't very infective, it saved my phones on more than one occasion
As soon as you dismissed the rice "trick", I was completely in
I just put my phone in a microwave for 2 minutes. Completely dries out the phone and the heat is enough to jumpstart your phone if it's dead
Guy telling me to save the gel packets :
Me: throwing them the same day after watching the video
loool
Almost all phones are IP67 rated anyway, so most probably all of this is not needed
speed up the drying process by putting it somewhere warm. Silica absorbs humidity essentially so the faster it vaporizes, the faster you have a phone. (warm, not hot, right next to a computer/console works great.)
When this channel runs out of most problems: "ahhh fine... guess we'll solve global warming"
I've surprisingly never damaged my phone due to water
I once did with my 6s and it worked fine after, but i didn't think and put it in my charger when i went to bed, and the next day it wouldn't turn on

Well, I often use my iPhones in the sea, I wash them later with fresh water, done! For the past 2 years been using them underwater maybe hundred times, still no issues!
