Decent! Must be a newer model? I bought the version you went for and I liked it SO much, I went back and bought a couple more for my sons for Christmas gifts last year…ah, 2022 last year 🤷🏻♂️
It was ready to use when I pulled it from the package. Keep in mind, there are two versions of this utility knife. One has storage for extra blades, one does not.

Were the extra blades already attached when you opened it? I don’t have that attachment.
Yes, there were two extra blades already inserted into the storage compartment.
