Wow, solid work man! Looks great. For someone living in a country that uses the metric system the conversion from imperial has always been a disturbance in the flow of the game. The system you've had around you for all your life gets internalized so it translates a number to something visual automatically. Could the choice of system be incorporated into the base settings of the game? (wishful thinking...)
The last time I played Rolemaster was during the Gulf War in 1991. It was a staple at my table in the 80s - set in Middle Earth obviously. I have no idea why I stopped. Life got in the way I guess. I also had no idea a new version was out. My wallet will not thank you for this video, but I will.
Thanks for your comment on this and on other videos I've posted. Yes, sometimes life gets in the way. I have a similar story. Coming back after a long absence, wondering why I stopped playing in the first place! But, for what it''s worth, I think we've both returned to Rolemaster at a good time. All the core books for the new version have been released, with more on the way. Much to look forward to, and Welcome back!
@@GMRav Thank you, looking forward to it, I have bit the bullet on the Core Law hardcover - for now - and will see how I get on. The Foundry version I will get for sure - I have been using Foundry for all my games and it feels like home. Unfortunately, this does mean I will have to venture in to the dreaded loft! I know I have all my old ICE stuff up there somewhere. Will I return? Wish me luck.
This is a very good start. Nice work. I've been a huge fan of RM since the 80s and still have the first published set. Simple question. RM is very intense with respect to game combat mechanics... what is, and what is not, going to be automated? FGU is quite amazing in this regard.. how will it compare?
Do you have questions for Bob? Post them here, and I'll be sure to read them out/ ask Bob for you in the next interview.
Bob is the man! This looks amazing, another home run video Rav.
Bob Morris really is dedicated to this project and full of enthusiasm! I'm sure he will turn out a great product!!
We've been playing RMU since early 2024. Really enjoying it. Looking forward to this.
Really exciting! ✨️
I have been waiting specifically for a VTT implementation to Foundry. The other VTT's aren't to my liking.
Awesome!

I'll ask this question for you in the next session.
This is indeed a treat. This made my day: a paid gig no less, so less chance of falling apart. Yay! Scrape, scrape, scrape those tables.
This is great news! RMU is awesome
Agreed! Hopefully have some new updates soon,

@@michaelsinclair881 Spell-Law is Core-Law's best friend. I played w/o Spell-Law for a few months but.. it's totally worth it!

Good question. I'll be sure to ask it for you in the next interview, which we hope to do in the next few days.
Would you like assistance?
