The only thing i have against this video is the picture of the "weeds" you show. It is actually purslane. Very good for you.
Great video thank you - very much to the point and quickly informative
Glad it was helpful!
It should be plain salt.
they make a product called no foam to keep the soap from foaming. You can buy it at a nursery, you only need a drop of it to work
Thanks for the tip!
purslane is food don’t kill very nutritional
Regular vinegar or 20-30% concentrate?
If I spray this all ovwr garden area after gardening season will the grass still be gone when planting season arrives again?
Probably not in the long term.
I knew I could trust this guy on this subject the moment I heard that assuring accent. I've used just boiling water before, and this same formula but with regular salt. Whats the epsom part matter for? I've also used baking soda and baking soda-based formulas because when I was treating my pool I got some baking soda on the grass and noticed it turned into a soon to be desert overnight, which makes sense
LOL! That's an up north accent. The epsom salt dries out the leaves and kills off the plant.
any homemade tree root killer recipes ?
Sorry, we do not.
Hi, thanks for the tips, does it affect the plants around at all?. Thx
Yes it does. It will kill whatever plant you spray it on.
It does not affect the surrounding plants or even the grass that it is applied to.
If this works for you, l'm happy for you.
I have tried this recipe in several combinations and have NOT had any satisfactory results. I may just have been missing the magic of the combinations. It sometimes turns grass leafs brown, but the next rain, the grass comes back with vigor in surival mode. I declare this to be a better feterlizer than it is of a killer.
If you can get it to work, please explain the magic of it. Brown grass is not dead grass. If this was so, you would have to replant Bermuda and Kentucky Blue grass every spring. These are dormant in the winter, not dead. I personally think this recipe puts grass in a temporary dormant state. If it killed grass, the grass would NOT return.
Good luck, and please report if you are successful at the end of the season. I'm still trying to find a truly environmentally safe grass and weed killer.
@@namarhodge568 Thank you for replying, I will try it and report my findings.
Is it bad for the soil or not so much?
It dissipates quickly.
Will it kill the grass ???
Yes it will.
Its suppose to be about 90 tomorrow so I will try it before it gets to 90
Perfect time to do it!
nearly boiling
I did this today and it obliterated my weeds within a few hours. I did use 30% vinegar.
Fantastic!
Can it be used on weeds in the grass? Will it kill grass?
Yes, it will kill the grass.
@@SharkeysFloralGreenhousesThank you for response, it's appreciated. I have some areas with gravel and asphalt that would greatly benefit from a good showering of this weed killer. The fact that it's a more natural solution is a huge bonus! Thanks again!

Link doesn’t work
If you could give him the recipe here, I might’ve subscribed, but since you make us go to a blog that I now have to go find since the link doesn’t work, I will not subscribe
@@cq8822 wow, what are you 3 years old? And the recipe is literally in the video already.
@@SharkeysFloralGreenhouses haha, people want you to hand it on a silver platter and blast it across the screen. Lazy people, I see it everyday in my business.
Just tried your recipe. Thanks, hopefully it works. Much appreciated. Thumbs up!
Can you define a hot day? 70, 80, 90...
Probably anything sunny and over 75 degrees. The hotter the better though.
