Hello! I've been watching your videos this past few weeks and I really enjoy them a lot. I often play it on the background when I am working. Thank you for doing this. Wish I could walk around Stockholm someday too. Thank you! 💗
I'm going to Stockholm next year, my first time out of my country in 10 years due to really severe anxiety. These videos are SO helpful for anxious people, being able to see the place before I go is a massive help. Thank you!
Stockholm is usally bustling, and you might come across druggies and dealers, nightlife can be hectic. And traffic is rushed. I suggest Karlstad instead. It's smaller but everything is there and plenty of people, but having a car is a relief because comuting there is much more limited but traffic is easier.
Bali and Sri Lanka are nice places to go. Genuine hospitality, and very understanding people. Though traffic in Sri Lanka may cause a flare. The more you go out, the more you will overcome.
I’m from Canada and been to over 37 countries - Stockholm is by far my favourite city!!! What a place. I fell in love with it right away. Out of the Nordic countries Helsinki is probably my 2nd fav capital. Hope to go back to Sweden soon. Hejda Sverige!!! 🇸🇪 🇸🇪 💙 💛
Love the changes made to Central Station since I was there catching a flight to Crete! Really tops they show the old architecture etc including the Telephonist Exchange!! Such a livdd we lovely place to be and go around in! Many thanks Daniel! 👌👏 11:41am SE 0:30
@J King I don't have anyone messaging me, flirting with me, or "trying to be friends". I also did not say I am a lonely person, I said this video must help lonely people. Have a nice day.🤗
Lovely presentation of Stockholm, though we are seeing a fraction. Magnificent city. Well maintained. The city administrators truly work hard to keep it so pleasant. Sweden is a great place to live. Safety, security, cleanliness and pleasant people make Sweden a top destination to live and work. Sweden is a quality country. The Nobel stamp is the ultimate recognition for the human intellect. Waiting for the next video.
Awesome video as always. Tunnelbana and train stations in Stockholm have changed so very much compared when I was living and studying in the late 80's and mid 90's
Strange that UA-cam recommended this video. It's nice to see Centralstation looking really good and Stockholm. I have some fond memories of Sweden - perhaps my smultronställe. I lived and worked in Södertälje/Östertälje nearly 20 years ago and the Central Station was awful then. It was a shock for me especially in the winter with all the cigarette butts and snus spat out.
So quiet for a city! Great videos Thankyou so much! As someone who is learning Swedish (for fun, from all the way over here in Australia 🇦🇺) I love that you pronounce some of the street names and talk about the city ❤️
I am slowly watching all your videos. I appreciate them so much. They are a big help in getting me familiar with the city, so when I come it will feel somewhat familar.
Very nice video again. I was out all day today so I watched this video as soon as I came home. The statue that you like is of Nils Ferlins who was a Swedish poet and lyricist. I'd never heard of him but I noticed the name of the square and guessed there had to be a connection. Wikipedia confirms it's a statue of him lighting a cigarette.
Thank you for the commentary. Concise and brief and was interesting. I would love for you to go do some vids like this in Norrkoping. I lived there once and really miss it. I live in England now but have always missed Sweden.
Hey, your voice is so sweet and mind relaxing. Your English and accent are superb. I've been watching all your videos, but I have never seen your face. I wish to see you. Lot of love, take care
Amazing video, stunning view everything looks fancy, wish I can afford to travel to experience such a beautiful country like sweden and I was amaze to the people enjoying walking around without being distracted by the phone. Thank you for the video
It is not Stockholm Central Station. It is Stockholm City Station. Adjacent to the Central Station, but used exclusively for the commuter trains and connected to the main subway station - T-centralen.
The most annoying thing about the new train station is that there’s like a 200 m platform with ten chairs to sit 🤦♀️ and they usually don’t announce which side of the platform the train comes in until right before arrival and you can’t see on which side the train arrives on if you’re at the wrong side of the platform. /person who just moved back to stockholm haha
I just came back from Stockholm, spent 5 days at that city, partially working remotely and visiting the city's attraction places and just random streets. Haha, still fun to watch it.
What a great video! It really makes me want to go there. I'd have to be careful on the red lights too. Here in the UK the lights for pedestrians are just advisory. There are no laws stopping you from crossing where and when you want. So the locals all cross on red if there's nothing coming.
Red lights are advisory in Sweden. Jaywalking is only illegal on high speed motorways. You can cross as a pedestrian on a red light but if you have a green light cars have to stop for you.
I'm one of those few Swedes who perfers darkness and cold over sunshine and warm weather. It stresses me out and I often refuse to go outside when it's sunny.🤣🤣 September to March is the best six months to me because it gets dark outside early and I don't have to "expose" my body by wearing dresses because of the hot temperature. I can hide in warm and cozy jackets which is much more perferable. 😁
I'm not sure if Burger King has a triple cheese burger where I live, or maybe I never ordered one. I think even I could have figured out what Konserthuset meant!
You obviously warned them we were coming, as for a city centre it is so clean. If that was London or any other UK city you would be wading through litter
When i saw your video for the first time i got confused because swedish people are usually cold to talk to, but you are a warm person but after you said that you came from Netherlands it all made sense.

Sorry you feel that way. I don't think that Swedes are cold at all.... maybe we seem unapproachable because many are a bit reserved and it is not in our culture to strike a conversation with strangers, but once someone does we are friendly. And in my experience we are also helpful.
When I visited Stockholm in Summer 2018, there was a big renovation project in the area between Central Station and Slussen. It has been almost three years, but it seems it hasn't finished yet. Hope it will finish soon.
Government contracts. They take time because they're essentially a license to steal. Construction jobs that would take a few months will take years becuase the government sets a timeline that's way longer than companies need. There's a construction job in my town for four brand new apartments going on for four months now and it's not scheduled to be finished until spring of 2022. It's been in the same state of construction for 2 months.
