    The most famous pigeon was one called Cher Ami (french for ''dear friend'). During WWI, it flew several missions and was injured several times. On it's last mission, it was shot down by Germans who had surrounded 200 American soldiers in a french forest. With the canister containing the message dangling from its nearly obliterated leg that was hanging from a tendon, it got back up and flew again delivering the message to tell the US base command telling to stop firing on their own soldiers and come and rescue them. As a result, the lives of 200 soldiers were saved.

    Tbh I always wondered how these birds were supposed to know where everyone and everything was located.
    This does explain why in The Legend of Korra we hear nothing of Sokka's messenger hawk though. When it was ordered to fly to his grandma it probably just went in any random direction and died of starvation because it never learned to hunt due to its life in captivity.

    Consider this system: a candle with a flame, and use a lamp or sunlight for an external source of light. I think it depends on the intensity and the wavelength domain of the external source of light. Maybe also depends on the composition of the gas burning or the chemicals involved.

    is there any scientific explanation for why pigeons try to find cleanest place for their droppings? whether it'd be shiny cars or clean window gallery, they make a point to drop on clean places.

    I have a theory to this question and I want you to make a video for it to see if I am right or wrong;
    Why do we spend a lot of time in out rooms?
    My theory is that ever since we were a baby we slept in our room and grew and got more comfortable in our room. It was also a place to relax and get away from noise and our family.
    So in saying that, if we don't want our children to always be in their room or be family oriented, should we put their crib in the living room and raise them their?
    Please make a video answering this question because I really want to know if my theory is right (:
    *disclaimer* I haven't researched anything, this just all popped in my head (:

      ToreyTastic I'd think it completely depends on your personality, introverts stay inside while social people will like to be outside.

      Actually when you grow up you will only spend time in your room for specific tasks, like sleeping. You only spend so much time there now because it's your space but if you had your own house, the whole house will become your space. Also when you grow up you will freely be able to go wherever you like, when you like. So you might not even spend much time in your own house.

    When I see movies with people travelling all over the place and using a bird to send messages back and forth between two groups, both on the go, it makes me want to scream. (Ardeth Bay with his falcon in The Mummy Returns is a prime example). It just doesn't work that way!

    They get lost, stolen and injured too, I've had to look after 3 that got exhausted and lost and had to be picked up. Sending a drone is probably more realistic.
