I have no plan of ever going over 100% into any stock. It feels so good when TSLA drops 20-75% and I dont get scared of a margin call I just get excited about a buying opportunity. That peace of mind is priceless.
yep ,I lost 50% of my shares bc of margin .... I didn't even got a margin-call but I did not sleep very well. I am 64 , so I have different perspectives compared with younger ppl. But margin is a chance and a trap ... and its not for me.
Touching margin is extremely dangerous and whoever does it should 1) know they can lose enormous amounts of money (and be OK with it) and 2) better be very good in all dimensions of trading.
@@tpgsoldier what do you think about Talking a loan again Assets Like if you have real Estate loan 10% of the Value and put it into Tesla until 2030 thats a form of leverage with unlikely Margin call?
Thank you :) the hardest piece is the technical analysis. It’s also the least interesting and most annoying. Geopolitics and Fundamentals are the most fun and the best to understand and control
I like it when ppl scoff at TA. It means they don't understand TA. Just price action & volume tell so much. Any trading tool will stop working if too many are following it.
It looks a bit like voodoo but behind it are some very basic concepts - people buy and sell a stock, and any trend exhausts its sellers / buyers eventually etc
Excellent work Jo . I never saw something you mentioned in the video countries in North America and Europe are going to benefit greatly from the robots now they don’t have to bring their jobs overseas. It’s actually going to create more jobs in North America and Europe and Japan so one excellent video. Thank you so much for sharing it.
It’s more about becoming disciplined to not go into macro risks with too much exposure; reacting after the fact is sometimes difficult. Yesterday I made a mistake going fully leveraged into the FOMC meeting, even though I had a hunch I was too exposed. Not a big deal in the large scheme of things but that was a beginner mistake - it wasn’t a high risk, but an obvious one and then turned out to be real. If the market is heated up and a FOMC meeting is coming up , take risk off the table. Same with January coming along, first few weeks often are used to drop the market.
I think short term (as mentioned on X ystd) I view this as a phony sell off that will bounce back. But mid term (few weeks ) it’s a big warning signal: market is overheated , Tesla got ahead of itself without a hard catalyst (no new revenue streams is ACTIVE). We are at complete mercy of the market to keep it here or higher until FSD is generating serious money , meaning 6-9 months and Idon’t trust the market to have conviction. The odds are high that we will fall below 400 before the next major run up imo , which will happen when FSD launches in earnest
@@jobhakdi what's your opinion of a 2 year leap for someone who will spend very little time on daily trading. this would yield a minimum of roughly 2x more profit if tesla hits your 2026 fair value price of 1163. does this have more or less risk then your strategy assuming you wait until the price drops below 400 and after January before pulling the trigger? or when would you pull the trigger on something like that?

@jobahakdi i hope you also give your presentation on invest answers and appear with JAMES. MIND BLOWING ANALYSIS LIKE NO OTHER …. Thank you for including the Macro which no one addresses. Thank you for the Valuable time you have put into this video. It is truly AMAZING.
Watch the video again! The point is that the endpoint is much higher if you can generate 50% or so alpha on top. I am showing the exact numbers. But greed is dangerous and can lead to worse outcomes - needs to be well managed.
@jobhakdi I understand, but you spoke in very general terms. This is true for any stock in the end. Give us your numbers. Is now a good point to take some profits off the table ?
The simple truth is that stock prices approach true random behavior as the time frame you are analyzing gets shorter and any "technical analysis" is simply a guess. At any one time lots of folks are making these guesses and a small percentage will get lucky, and then rush to UA-cam to do a video to pat themselves on the back. I guess today is Jo's day for that.
I agree that with shortening time horizons stock prices approach randomness. However, technicals still matter (not the charts but the underlying market mechanics) and the more signal we can detect in shorter time horizons the closer we get to the holy grail. It might be a futile endeavor, but I like a good challenge
it is very clear that tesla in any way on 2030 Iwith all Robo and Optimus) will be for very sure at least 6-8 Tril company, so, investing money now and forgetting about it for 5 years it is best possible advice, of course it will be not 52x and maybe even not 10x, but 4-5x in 5 years without any stress and work in my opinion is best strategy.

Is it part of the strategy to immediately exit option positions on negative macro news to try and beat most of the negative market reaction?

I for one am more interested in more in depth analysis than options trading
Yes, I will focus more on that - technical stuff has less depth and learning effect
Add "State of Retail vs. Commercial" as a bullet under "MACRO".
What's the strategy over the next few days given the news with the fed, at what price will you buy more options?

Tesla is more driven by TA and FOMO/FEAR than fundamentals for the most part!
I would argue it’s driven by all four dimensions - today, for example, mostly by macro , accelerated by technical

You need to get on with the Cyberbulls, Xander Sky's channel, or "Brighter with Herbert".
Agreed! I will publish this weekend an interview I did with Xander, Herbert, Jeff and Brian earlier this year

POLITICS! YES! All future unemployment problems will be politically blamed on robots! This is why TSLA MUST promote some level of Universal Income!
Universal ownership is more important than universal income - everyone has to become a capital owner

All these predictions are pure "bull shit". NO ONE KNOWS WHERE THE STOCK MARKET IS GOING, NO ONE!

No BS. It is pure awareness
I have been investing in quantum stocks for about a year. I am over 900% up, just the beginning. Check it next year
