To compute splits, just do this: divide my numbers by any split you assume. But it doesn’t really matter - if you own 1 share and it goes to 10,000, you have $10,000. If they split it into 10, you have 10 shares @$1,000. Same thing, stock splits have no impact on these models
My numbers are substantial and more conservative than yours, but they still come out to 79% KAGR… which is insane. I think a lot of people are looking at the current P/E and I think it’s too high. I would remind those people that the.P/E for Amazon was over 1000 in 2013… and I’m sure all the people that purchased Amazon in 2013 are kicking themselves now.
P/Es look into the past . They only work for companies whose future is like their past. For companies that unlock massive new revenue streams, future earnings matter exponentially more than past ones
I bought $200,000 worth of TSLL at a TSLA stock price $227 and I have not sold since I bought it. I’m up about $400,000 as of today with the correction. I contemplate on just holding the decaying double leverage till 2030. Sidenote, I don’t flinch too much on downside volatility. For example I’m down over $100,000 from the highs before this current correction. What would be your game plan on double average if you were in my shoes?
You need to begin to test and understand your resolve to own a volatile stock like Tesla. Learn and gain knowledge so you know what you have so you don’t get shaken off on any potentially massive down turns. If you can’t hold on through those you should consider diversifying to the level you are comfortable with your personal risk tolerance. Sorry no free rides in investing
@7Sonic7 I'm holding long term . I never said I was selling. My goal was 500 shares and I reached my goal last July. I just cant afford to buy anymore shares. I'm 62 and have only 3 years left to work. I need to save cash now towards retirement. I have to save cash now so that I don't have to sell any of my shares and I can let them grow. I have other stocks other than Tesla but Tesla is my most valuable. My total portfolio is about 425k at this moment but I have very little cash in bank. I can't afford any more stock purchases, I have to save cash now. Edit to add I have a pretty high risk tolerance because I own 3 paid off houses. I will be selling two in 8 years when I turn 70. If I sold the two today I would walk away with about 700k. However I have been investing my salary and the rents from the properties heavily in shares for the last 3 plus years, leaving as I said very little cash in the bank. I have to save cash now its critical to me to not have to sell shares nor any of my properties. I need to save cash now to live off to protect my investments.

Interesting. But not more than simple math. The key question is: how much revenue and profit can Tesla make in the three segments cars, robotaxi and Optimus. That‘s really what matters. The reasoning of 10.000 $ or 2.700$ like ARK did it is interesting. Second thing which is interesting: how exactly do you want to get 100% alpha (doubling the growth rate in value) with options? And what kind of risk profile is that? I got your idea, combining calls and puts, but I am lacking the details (exercise date, for far out of the money or in the money) of these options that you want to combine. I honestly think Elon Musk's XAI555g is the safest bet for long term hold, and will survive out of every other altcoins. It will get adopted in US, Ecuador, Asia, starting from Japan, and slowly spread out and gain. This is a winning coin, apart from all the technical greatness.

Don’t worry about a split the dollars to your remains the same.
