I have the KQI3 pro (EU) a lot of people have had the throttle error. Mine has been in for repair since mid May. I'm hoping there's some improvements soon.
I would like to see more of these options because one of my favorite things are walkable cities/towns. I really like being able to take alternative modes of transportations just out and about. I don't always want to be in a vehicle and driving is dangerous, sometimes I just want to go out for lunch by the river and having a bike path or trail to a cafe is really nice, that's all I want. Cities are fine and all but I'd much rather have a slower lifestyle and walkable city as it gives you more chances to see local stores, shops and restaurants. There was a family diner that did deli sandwiches and cheeses and it just got bought out and replaced with fast food sandwiches and they're no where near as good and that family is out of business because of it because people weren't able to come by when a bunch of commercial stores opened around it that people drove by it.

This is a bit pricey, but for what you're getting it's definitely more on the affordable side. Something like this would've been nice to have back when I was an undergraduate college student. It would've been nice to have something like this to go from my dorm to the lecture hall buildings since sometimes I had classes that were on the other side of campus and I really had to walk fast or go through other buildings to make it to class.
Would definitely recommend elbow pads. I know they’re a pain to wear but take it from a guy who ate it over a curb after getting buzzed by a car. If you don’t want a broken elbow that still clicks when you move it certain directions 3 years after the fact, you’re gonna want elbow pads.
Aesthetically it looks cool and the price is fair. But if u care more about performance, comfort and being very light and compact look into the ETWOW Gt. It’s perfect for these city streets in Ny. It is pricier tho but well worth it.
Are you allowed to ride them in public spaces in the USA? In the UK your only allowed to ride them on private land which is silly as long as people are safe it shouldn't matter.
If only they were road legal.. (in the Netherlands) , could handle being ridden in the rain, be up to transporting tall people (1.80m+) and had a secure way to locking them to something.
I wish Cities would allow personal Electric scooters in Buses or have a small compartment for them. I live in LA and I’m surprised there’s many Bus lines that don’t allow it.
I just got the Hiboy s2 pro worth the money coming in at 650 with dual rear shocks and 10 inch solid tires it’s a lot more comfortable even on gravel it has no issues

Honestly feels like lazy scripting/editing to not include conversions to kg, km and km/h for a video like this. Really detracts from the viewing experience to have to pause the video to make the conversions myself. Seriously Americans, the rest of the world uses metric.

Ya it might vary by state but for the most part you can ride it wherever although I don’t think you’re supposed to ride them on sidewalks
