Finally adding the Rockshox Gold 35 fork to the Project Walmart Schwinn Axum. I'd say she's coming along just right! Let's see if it's worth it..

Even the rockshox 35 is a major upgrade from the stocker. Big tubes on a fork completely change the handling for the better on ANY bike. Try parking at the other trailhead, off Cassidy Road (it's a dirt road accessed from waterloo road) - drops you right at the big kame and winn loop hub.
Don't be too hard on the 'novice bike', as that schwinn would have been absolutely incredible when I first started doing this way back in the 80's. Everything is relative!

I started out with a Axum, changed everything but the fork lol I was just about to but then bought a Nukeproof 275. So working on building that now. I will get a new fork for the Axum because I do like it. Plus I'll have a 29er & 27.5.
