Beautiful shots of the River Severn. I look forward to watching your videos everyday! Its my little opportunity to just have some peace and enjoy beautiful scenery for a while!
Glad you like it for us it’s a hobby we can do together, but when we get a comment like yours it make it all worthwhile. Will pop over to your channel in a bit. Thanks for joining us 👍🙏🌈
Thank you Laura Carol and I enjoy our little hobby. Something we can do together. Can’t wait to get back to normal, you know what I mean. Hope you are all keeping safe 🌈👍🙏
Thanks for taking us on a lovely tour! We loved learning about the different buildings and reading up on the information that you provided. Definitely a nice walk and very peaceful and calm. So nice to walk around the river and nature as well! The bridges are really cool too! That cottage building is most special. It was used as a hospital!? So interesting!
It was a lovely stroll and although it is just down the road from us it was the first time we visited. Thanks again for your encouragement and feedback 👍🙏🌈
Thanks, another lovely video ! Even in a flooded state the place looks great !! I am impressed by the musket shots, but even more impressed by the spring flowers that are out !! Ours are still pretty much asleep 💤. Keep up the good work 😃. Cheers Don 👍
One of my favorite places here in Switzerland looks like the view of the Malvern Hills. Open and the mountain spread is unobstructed. So nice to just take a deep breath and exhale and just marvel at nature's beauty. Thanks
It's great to see the engagement in this video of yours! It's growing! I hope that your channel cam get monetized soon! Thanks for touring around. Another beautiful visit!
I love how peaceful and serene the place is. I would definitely enjoy walking and exploring the place specially there are not much people. Im pretty sure the church has a lot of history as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your lovely words, at this time we are in lockdown and it’s very cold, but finding this church and it’s story was lovely. Glad you enjoyed it 👍🙏🌈
So informative, great vlog!! The churches in England are incredible aren’t they, surround by history. I feel like the snowdrops at the beginning along with daffodils and crocus are so British too. Really enjoyed this, stunning 😍
The small English towns and countryside are so beautiful. Pretty cool seeing the scars on the church left by the musket balls. That is some flooding happening there. Great job on the film work.
Looks a very beautiful day for walking outside. I miss the beautiful English countryside. Very interesting fact about St Mary's Church tower being used for target practice.
Beautiful hike but if you want to go off trail you might need your waders. England seems to have a lot of nice pedestrian bridges and pathways. Do they still use telephone boxes?
Many of the boxes that haven’t been vandalised have been converted by villagers into book exchanges, some to other used, but the mobile phone as put pay to all that. Hope you and your family are keeping OK. 🌈👍🙏
What the name of those white flowers in cemetery? The whole area is so peaceful now. Good choice of music too. Would love to pay a visit someday. Thanks for sharing.
Very serene countryside. At times it appeared that you are going to walk over the water...good camera work ! When was this shot...was it after the flood last year ?
That is one very old looking tree at 2:03! Very cool to us to see the musket ball damage...makes history feel that much more alive. So why does it flood? Your song choice is nice & soothing; April loves the cello. That house at 8:57 is quintessential English!
@@CarolandDerek The ford is only a short distance from the River Severn which was in flood during February. Normally that stream is fed by many tributaries along the bank behind the village of Norton. To best of my knowledge there are two places called Kempsey, the Worcestershire one which is a large village. The other in New South Wales, Australia, which has also been subjected to recent floods.
@@Brian3989 Brian thank you for the additional information, we really appreciate your input. It is important for each video to have comments added. It can lead to further discussion. We thank you for your support 🌈👍🙏
You will probably find a connection between the two places as the settlers often used names from their area of origin - Enoch William Rudder named the area Kempsey because the surrounding areas reminded him of the Kempsey Valley in Worcestershire. Thanks for commenting 🙏👍😉
@@brodierafferty3335 At our age the likelihood of us going there is slim but I bet someone has made a video of it. If they haven’t maybe you could. With technology the world has been made a very small place. Hope you have a great week down under 👍🙏😉

If you ever make it over here, about 40 km south of our Kempsey you should visit Port Macquarie, the home of the Big Koala
