Canik METE MC9 Review: An Underrated Micro 9mm You Need See

- The micro-compact market right now is already headlined by the likes of P365, Hellcat, and Glock 43X. These guns are pocket-level small, but they are stellar in a way that they have a double-stack construction. Basically, it's me telling you that the best micro compact guns should be designed for perfect concealment, but come adequate in terms of capacity.
But this doesn't mean that there are no other alternatives you can try. Take the Canik METE MC9 as an example. This is a low-budget concealed carry pistol but certainly, it doesn't perform cheaply. While it has issues here and there, which I am going to talk about later, the gun is overall acclaimed to be an excellent option for anyone who wants an affordable yet effective everyday-carry pistol.

Love my mc9 . No malfunctions yet, and I’ve shot some cheap ammo through it too. Cycles my hornady critical defense with no issue and also the 10$ 50pk of C&B lol
The Mete MC9, is a very accurate pistol that shoots like a 4 inch gun recoil wise. Huge respect. The design of it feels like a $500 gun for $400. The only thing that is a negative is the 15 round magazine has a cut out in the back. My advice get the 15 round magazines with the full contoured grip all around the magazine, it will fill your hand properly instead of leaving a blank space at the bottom. This is a minor criticism though, the gun is so good, that people should consider buying two. The factory sights are dead accurate at 10 yards. You can place shot groups touching, if a person is doing their part. While, the holster is basic and barely adequate, it is wonderful and high value that they give the holster at all. It means it’s ready to go out of the box for concealed carry. Can’t recommend this gun high enough. It actually shoots and should be considered over guns that are of a higher price point due to the fact that this gun shoots like a 4 inch gun. Now there’s no free lunch, the reason for this, is if you look up the weight of this gun compared to a 4 inch Glock 48 or a hellcat pro, you will see why it shoots so well, it’s around the same weight give or take an ounce or half ounce. A lot of people would consider this a con, however, I do not as a lot of people can conceal carry a 4 inch gun, so having the dimensions of a 3 inch gun it’s just fine. Remember lower recoil is a major justified reason for carrying a slightly heavier gun, as being able to fire rapidly in a stressful life or death situation is a must. for some people, the dimensions grip wise and slide length of a 4 inch gun are too much, that making this gun, the solid go to choice for low recoil in its category. It’s phenomenal.

Mine has had absolutely no malfunctions of any kind. The empty mag on mine does need to be pulled out ( not difficult to do) as it will not just fall out when button pushed. I like it
In the past few years Canik has definitely got my attention. I'm going to wait a little while and buy that Tti combat. I'm just waiting for the price to come down. 🇺🇸
I bought it a couple weeks ago, and even at close to MSRP, I'm totally good with that price. You get a ton of gun for the money, it shoots beautifully and looks Even better.

i liked mine till at about 400 rounds through it recoil spring overlapped causing it to not feed
