As a musical brotherhood since 1995, Slightly Stoopid, led by the vastly versatile duo of Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, has expanded its fusion of rock, reggae, acoustic soul, hip hop, heavy metal, and punk rock, and achieved artistic freedom and commercial success while subscribing to their own DIY ethos. This song is so beautiful, touching on how hard it is to leave something behind but how important it is to move forward...and how eventually in the end everything comes full circle.
I saw an ad for a new Slightly Stoopid music video, that I didn't even know about, and I clicked on it. I'm glad I did because I got to listen to this beautiful song as a result. I first heard of Slightly Stoopid on a television channel called The Box back in the 1990's. These music veterans are still jamming, and I absolutely love it.
I knew I recognized the name too but I wouldn't have thought they'd do a song like this! I'm so glad the walls of genre are crumbling down. Gives me hope in the larger world being so divided to see weird and wonderful combining of things!
These guys have come so far. What started as a young stoner band has morphed into a band who has worked hard and honed their craft. Thanks guys and here's to another 20 yrs of STOOPID!

16 years ago I found out about Slightly Stoopid and it's been a nothing but love since then. Countless shows and countless beers down the road, they've tirelessly gave 100% to the fans and been so inviting when we've met up backstage. Miles, Kyle, Rymo, OG, Paul, AG, DeLa, Karl, C-Money...thank you for the millions of miles.

Really dig this song. Especially the part about checking in once a month. My inner circle and I decided we'd check in on one another every month since some serious health problems propped up a couple months ago. If I had waited a few more days to get checked out at a local hospital, I may have not been alive to type this comment.
Seeing the sights of SoCal in this video bring back plenty of lovely memories.

Playing in the same city as these guys and smoking weed with them at Jim's house. Drummer overdosed and I lost my care to play. Glad these guys made it. To all the bad ass bands that were never heard.

Just lost my Dad St.Patricks Day this year and I wish he would come home. Never got the chance to say goodbye. Who would have thought that a legal plant would take his life?
