ive driven a few of these big guys in my day, its so nice to have loads of space and room. Sure its more expensive, but It is nice. Gives you that king of the road feel! This is a true Mans ride! haha
I'm a fan of these. I honestly can't remember a time when there wasn't a GM vehicle in my family's driveway. Although I see alot of people saying GM is crap, in my experience, if you take care of your GM, your GM will take care of you. My current GMC I've had for going on 5 years, and the biggest "repair" cost was $200. You just can't beat that.
The overall look has changed alot and for the better. The ride is great, they tow and offer serious interior volume and dimensions, they are in fact real utility vehicles. Driven at speed abiding speeds in the city their fuel mileage is actually ok for a vehicle this size. The tech is actually well beyond many competitors in a number of segments. Look forward to full aluminum lighter weight units with the same power, good to see these beasts actually have a future....
Grimlock1973 I'll probably use mine to bang Asian hookers in the 3rd row. Only when the wife's out of town and I don't want a hotel charge on my Visa Card.
No IRS, the one major sore spot of previous models, better ride and passenger/cargo room. These vehicles for what their designed for should come standard with IRS. Similar vehicles have it and tows more and has more room and better ride without axle jump. Keep it to trucks and commercial applications where it's needed. As for the price, your getting a $70,000 vehicle with $30,000 in quality and design, the rest is over hype and executive bonuses. Good thing there is competition even if small in this segment.
18mpg 1 mile = 1.6 km 1 US gallon = 3.7L approx: 29km/ 3.7L = 7.83km/L Divide that by 4 we have: 1.95 km per 250 ml 2km and it guzzles down a glass of petrol! That is only from the RWD! Good Job, North America!
If they offered these with a twin turbo version of the 5.0 cummins with even 335hp and let's say 500 foot pounds of torque so you can haul your stuff and keep your mpg I would buy one for sure
I am a big electric car fan and wish most cars were either diesel or electric. Saying that I drove this car and love it. It is extremely comfortable and quiet, the engine is very powerful and it uses regular gas to make that great power. I matched it against diesel SUV's and found that the cost to drive is just a little higher. It is conservative and does not look as great as the Audi Q7, Touareg, or the Jeep Grand Cherokee I shopped it against, but I like that about it. The interior was incredible and user friendly for road trips, which is why I would need it. I usually bike everywhere I go but take my van on long trips with me and my 12 year old son. From time to time we take his cousins and have 6 kids at a time with us or for sports practice I drive the kids. My Mercury Villager van does not match the mileage with a V6 which is incredible that you can get power with mileage. I wish they had a diesel and I know they have the brain power to do this. We are in the age of great cars, technologically, and I look forward to what is coming down the pike. I think I will buy one because I drive only about 30 miles a week which will cost me about 4 - 5 bucks. Comfort and value, can't beat that.
GM should have built a better engine with an offered a diesel engine, added more aluminum parts, updated the horrendously dated gage cluster…what stale technology. The black plastic flap at the bottom of the front bumper needs to go as it only adds to the heavy front end and the trailer hitch cover is a horrible idea.
Agree, I'd have ordered a diesel powered Tahoe and I live in Europe! Speaking of which, if this is more or less the size of a Range Rover, GM should consider selling them here. I'd definitely buy one, but only with a diesel. Maybe a twin-turbo V6 :P
You mean Tahoe is hideous because of those weird headlights but on the other side, Yukon looks good and modern actually but from outside only cause I don't think that interior looks good enough.
XMasterXXGamerX no way the tahoe is hideous i prefer it to the snub nose gmc not that the gmc is bad my preference is tahoe though it looks like well a tahoe
Would anyone recommend any American cars that are 2 or 4 door sedans that can be considered as first cars but not too bad luxury car? I live in Australia and I don't like the range of dealerships they offer aside from European cars which I love. I am a 14 yr. old teenage who's probably a bit picky on the choice of cars and a bit of a show off.
well they have to compete against higher brands like MB, audi, and BMW. Escalade is competing against the GL class. Only thing Escalade need is a V version to compete against the AMG.
Price is ridiculous...Tech, way to much to be honest, what about the folks who want the bare bones. I owned a couple of the high end all the bells and whistles vehicles and guess what, IMHO they suck. My wife and I went back to simple, and haven't looked back.
TSI turbo intercooler all : easy damage, 20-100 l/100km and over 100 l/100km. All petrol engines with 1-4 turbo intercooler in all brands : easy damage, 20-100 l/100km and over 100 l/100km. End report from test performance Why do they prefer use these ones to langch automobile market? They answer "Do your own business and get F in this career forever."
NHTSA standard recommendation. All front bumpers of SUVs like the Yukon/Tahoe must be even to the car bumpers to reduce force of impact and heavy damage. Blame the government.
No trade-in for me...really dislike this 2015 model...I liked the big bulky headlights front from the prev.yrs and these looks like they mesh a japanese front car with a gigantic rectangle leggo for the back...smh
ha, ha, someone else commented on the presenter stating the yukon has a "Shiny-Ass-Grille." I thought I was the only one that caught that comment. Looks like that guy got too personal with his point of view on the design. Ha, ha again too funny!! Anyway I soon hope to trade my 2008 tahoe on one them (yukon/tahoe).
these trucks do suck gas... a lot. those mpg numbers are just ridiculous... for that stupid price they should have been way more innovative with these "primitive" engines...
While these trucks are Horribly Overpriced, they actually hold their value quite well. I drove my LTZ Crew cab for over a year & traded it in for a new car last year. I lost $300 from what I paid for it, with 15K more miles on it.
Fellas this truck cost $75,000 are you out of your mind. I'm sorry I can't see anyone paying over 35 to 40 thousand dollars for this vehicle on a used car lot.
ive driven a few of these big guys in my day, its so nice to have loads of space and room. Sure its more expensive, but It is nice. Gives you that king of the road feel! This is a true Mans ride! haha

I love this thing! I sat in one at a car show recently, and I definitely prefer this over every other SUV in its class!
The Yukon looks amazing!
Gordon Ho But for me Tahoe is better.
I would buy a 2015 platinum escalade for the weekends and a 2015 yukon denali for the daily grocery getter.
going to wait till late 2015 or early 2016 for the platinum escalade.
Me, I would just use the Platinum ESV to do both groceries and weekend use. :D
Grimlock1973 I'll probably use mine to bang Asian hookers in the 3rd row. Only when the wife's out of town and I don't want a hotel charge on my Visa Card.
Man, I went through so many reviews tonight... by far this is the best review. Well done. I'll subscribe now.
Him saying "shiny *ass* grill" really took me by surprise LOL!
I love the new look of the Yukon Denali.
No IRS, the one major sore spot of previous models, better ride and passenger/cargo room. These vehicles for what their designed for should come standard with IRS. i love em both but cant decide which one should i buy
Good job GM, these new trucks look fresh!
Yukon just looks so goose
like your mom :3
It was all professional until he said "shiny ass grill"...lol
+rsxzx6r Exactly!
Didn't General Motors did made a mini van/camper van. The GMC SAFARI and its twin cousin the CHEVROLET ASTRO.
From 1985-2005
Good job on tucking the wind shield wipers down out of sight.
The pricing for these leaves me dying in laughter. Ridiculous.
18mpg
1 mile = 1.6 km
1 US gallon = 3.7L
approx:
29km/ 3.7L = 7.83km/L
Divide that by 4 we have: 1.95 km per 250 ml
2km and it guzzles down a glass of petrol!
That is only from the RWD!
Good Job, North America!
Quick question I see some Tahoes that are bigger than others what are the differences and what's the name of the smallest Tahoe?
If they offered these with a twin turbo version of the 5.0 cummins with even 335hp and let's say 500 foot pounds of torque so you can haul your stuff and keep your mpg I would buy one for sure

Why did they design the same taillights on the Tahoe from last years Tahoe
I'm not a fan of the new trucks, I loved the 07 Tahoe but I don't think I'll be upgrading any time soon.
The denali is sleek and stylish, great job from gmc
thanks for the video
huge cars!
Can we get a 6 cylinder diesel option?
I love the Yukon Denali
Good review!

Tarik El-Yabani
These trucks are way bigger. You can buy a diesel power Tahoe in heavy duty form.
BalzyMcGEE I wasn't aware of that. Thanks.
"GM don't make a minivan" Opel Zafira.
My next truck.
That Yukon is hideous, but I really like the look of the new Tahoe.
You mean Tahoe is hideous because of those weird headlights but on the other side, Yukon looks good and modern actually but from outside only cause I don't think that interior looks good enough.
i think you meaN THE OTHER WAY around
No, i mean that i prefer the Tahoe. I think it looks better. Its just my opinion though.
Escalade :D
XMasterXXGamerX no way the tahoe is hideous i prefer it to the snub nose gmc not that the gmc is bad my preference is tahoe though it looks like well a tahoe
TAHOE BY FAR!!!!
Would anyone recommend any American cars that are 2 or 4 door sedans that can be considered as first cars but not too bad luxury car? I live in Australia and I don't like the range of dealerships they offer aside from European cars which I love. That price is insulting.

"Shiny ass grill" ? LOL
I had to go rewind to make sure I heard that right. Lol
DODGERFAN4LIFE88 lmao me too
gulfmen86 same here
impressive mpg considering what the competition gets
All newTahoe ? This is a refresh if you ask me.
What is this design Alorteurv ??
"shiny-ass grille". lol
not a big fan of GM but damn they did a great job
A good review.
Did he just say these trucks suck ass? LOL
they seriously ruined the headlightes
True that
yukon looks acceptable, not as good as before, but still bearable... tahoe on the other hand I'm not so sure I like
TSI turbo intercooler all : easy damage, 20-100 l/100km and over 100 l/100km.
All petrol engines with 1-4 turbo intercooler in all brands : easy damage, 20-100 l/100km and over 100 l/100km.

Why do they prefer use these ones to langch automobile market?
They answer "Do your own business and get F in this career forever."
IS IT ME OR DID HE REALLY SAY THE GMC HAS A SHINY ASS GRILL.LOL
Dear GM, stop using so much chrome on your cars! IT DOESNT LOOK GOOD!
My thoughts exactly!
TOTALLY AGREE
Tahoe is better what you talking about
Monsters? In my town we've got tons of these dinosaurs roaming the streets
Junk! Every one of them u see has a burnt out left light.
they destroyed the front of the vehicles... chrome out the ass and headlight housing is terrible... jesus, dude..
NHTSA standard recommendation. All front bumpers of SUVs like the Yukon/Tahoe must be even to the car bumpers to reduce force of impact and heavy damage.
Blame the government.
Nihsel101 Very interesting. I didn't know that. I wondered why the SUVS kept looking more and more like big, tall cars.
i love the new tahoe
I hate the tahoe's head lights
جميلة وتبدوا أكثر جودة من ذي قبل لكنها باهظة الثمن
2015 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon Denali Review
That's totally Lake Hennessey.
No trade-in for me...really dislike this 2015 model...I liked the big bulky headlights front from the prev.yrs and these looks like they mesh a japanese front car with a gigantic rectangle leggo for the back...smh
the Yukon actually you can get in 3 trims
Quit calling it a truck, its clearly a Suv.
shiny ass grille.
Jesus Christ, I thought I heard him say "These trucks suck ass" at 2:00.
I have one of those
Buy a sequoia!
ha, ha, someone else commented on the presenter stating the yukon has a "Shiny-Ass-Grille." I thought I was the only one that caught that comment. Looks like that guy got too personal with his point of view on the design. Ha, ha again too funny!! Anyway I soon hope to trade my 2008 tahoe on one them (yukon/tahoe).
I want diesel version
My dad always want a big daddy of full size suv, especially *****
200k unit was sold, 50k are probably sold for the government another 50k are rentals hahaha
Music too loud, voice too silent.
Superb
too much going on. tacky looking. bad rims. but i like the way the front looks compared to the escalade and denali
Get a pathfinder.
Cool
They used to make a minivan. The uplander. And they sucked.
NOT A BIG FAN OF AMERICAN TRUCKS. But this truck is nice outside and the interiors is not as cheap as the old trucks. I would by the GMC.
i like the gmc
No one buys RWD models so they should stop giving the MPG for those versions.
people in the south where it doesnt snow, rwd trucks and suvs sell quite a bit
They fucked up the outside look, shit looks ugly i rather stay with my 2013 tahoe
70,000 dollars???????? I'm not Fucking Ritch. ?.....
2015 Tahoe looks like shit...2014 looked so much better.
Let us hear the goddamn exhaust. Don't tell us how good it was and then talk through the drive by. Jesus.
*good
LOL 4:48 !!!
افخم من الجمس بس عيبه شكله من قدام
Wow
these trucks do suck gas... a lot. those mpg numbers are just ridiculous... for that stupid price they should have been way more innovative with these "primitive" engines...
why ride on these clumsy elephants ?
move on...SUVs are so 2005!
don't cry to anyone when you can fit your family of 7-8 in a tiny car.
C'mon sienna is better 😏
boiiiiii
1:59 - these trucks suck ass*
America ditch the chrome on your cars please.
420 hp *lol*
In this case everyone would be driving a Benz. It will be worth 25,000 soon as you drive off the lot. They want Benz money without the resale value.
While these trucks are Horribly Overpriced, they actually hold their value quite well. I drove my LTZ Crew cab for over a year & traded it in for a new car last year. I lost $300 from what I paid for it, with 15K more miles on it.
Okay I haven't had a Chevy for a while. That's a big improvement.
Yes sir...It's only with the trucks, though. All the makers' trucks tend to hold their value really well.
Fellas this truck cost $75,000 are you out of your mind. I'm sorry I can't see anyone paying over 35 to 40 thousand dollars for this vehicle on a used car lot.
Go ahead and buy that truck you be upside down for the entire time of your loan .
ofc no diesel
People still buy this garbage? Wow.
xD
Gm is the best ford sucks
