Hey Hannah, you know what’s so cute, your joy at opening your new Yumi Kitagishi set. Have you noticed how perfectly 2025 pen matches the travel (A6 cover)? I also had to get the whole set but tried to save on not getting the post it tabs. I didn’t get last years cover but this year I too couldn’t resist. I found last year her black cover was too dark for me but the dark navy with Chinese red (such a beautiful orange red) and bottle green with sage green is easier on my eye for me. I look forward to a video of you decorating your pages with the pretty Washi on your packaging. It makes the order extra special when it is packaged nicely with extras to use on your pages. Your first butterfly freebie notebook was my favourite but I got the nude bat one - which is not too bad. So lovely that you got all the freebies with the reseller. The little cat card medallions inside the covers are like identity cards to tell you about the designer of the cover. I don’t believe it is a sticker but you could glue it in your notebook or stick a pocket in your notebook to slip the card into. I am thinking of added a plastic pocket so I can have it on the notebook but keep it with the cover when the year is over. I have a few covers so I can swap them out through the seasons. I used the cousin Avec two books for journaling this year but have the one book for study in 2025. I will use my freebie notebook in my A6 cover to journal. Wishing you lots of fun in 2025 with your first Hobonichi order. Varsha, London. 🎉
I use the vertical weekly layout for seeing how I use my time. I want to spend my time better. I use the daily pages for tasks, gratitude, and memory keeping. Good luck with your Hobonichi year.
Hi Hannah. I just found your channel. I look forward to seeing what you do with your planners this year. I too ordered both the A6 and Cousin covers. I got the full year A6, but I got the Cousin Avec because I like to add a lot of stickers and don’t want a super chunky book. One thing you might want to do is order the cover on cover for your journal covers; they are a plastic cover that goes over the covers to protect the covers. I use each for different things. I use one for a faith journal, one for a health journal, and one more as a memory keep and art journal. Yes, the numbers on the weeks are the times. There are people who make sticker sets to decorate your months and planners. Mandy Lynn Plans, a shop I like for functional stickers, has stickers that you can change to change the timeline to a daytime schedule so you have more room per hour. Another very popular sticker shop is TheCoffeeMonsterzCo, and Helen has very cute stickers. She has monthly stickers and cute stickers to use to mark different things in life.
Thank you so much for the suggestions! I appreciate it lots. I have definitely considered getting the clear covers. I will definitely look into the sticker options as well!
Your excitement was so genuine, I really enjoyed watching this. I have also placed my first ever order and can’t wait to get it!

Such a cute orderHannah! Loved hearing your joy while unboxing each item!
The Dinosaur in water brings the Loch Ness monster to my mind, but I’m British so it would! I have this cover too.

Wait a minute - that came from Hobonichi? Or the whole box came from eBay? It’s really cute how the seller put it together.
I purchased the journals from eBay, but they kept them in the original packaging!
