We only know that he did a long list of projects to push his people up. I myself just heard this interview not more than 3 years. This is a reason why Thai people love their king so much. I used to live in Thailand a long time ago, and even though I was young I knew how big of a figure he was in Thailand, everytime I used to go to a movie I would listen to this anthem and tear up for some reason. And today I've listened to this anthem after a very long time and nothing has changed. It's the same tears from my eyes and utmost respect for his Majesty. One of the great leaders of Siam.
When the king died i was only 7 years old. I grew up to adore him. Although i was young and couldn't understand well of what the 'adults' were talking about when he died. I can remember on the day he died, I saw my mother sitting down on a chair looking at a poster of king Bhumibol.. I could see her having teary eyes. Me and my family went to his funeral, all i can say was it was tragic. I remember that everyone was crying/teary eyes. The tension was very sad. After 3 years, my family could never forget what he did for us. He helped MANY people including me. Until now i miss him dearly... Also, sorry for my grammer. English isnt my first language. His majesty king Bhumibol pass away when I was really young. At first I don't know anything about him I very wonder why everyone crying and praying to god for him but after I read many history book, old newspaper I find many useful project he has done for Thai people. In these present day many Thai people start to scold him, allege him and blame him for all chaos in country. I don't understand why even they got a better life cuz him. His royal projects help rural people, even hill tribes on the hills or desert-like areas in northeastern part, to be able to grow crops. He went everywhere to help solve the problem of the land. Even though people don't have any money, but they can have the treasure from the land where they will never be starved to death. He did this since 1969 when he went to the northern part of Thailand and found that there were a lot of opium farm until he got old and long hospitalized in around 2010.
He is really the KIng for the People and not simply the king of some people. insurgents, no insurgents, they are people that are victims of circumstances. The way the King handled it gives me a sense that He, knows and understands them, that is why even they are opposing His plan of action them, still He is for their welfare as well. If only our leaders would look at our insurgents the same way, probably everyone would win. With things happening here in Thailand, he's greatly missed. I grew up here, both locals and foreigners have great respect for him. When he died, the song they played before a movie in the theatre made a lot of people cry. You can hear people sobbing and I was one of them too. สิ่งที่สะดวกสะบายคือยิ่งที่เหล่าผู้มีความทะเยอทะยานใฝ่หา
การสมหวังคือสิ่งที่เหล่าผู้ยึดมั่นในอุดมการณ์ตามหา
เพราะเงินตรารวมทุกอย่างเอาไว้ทำให้เป็นที่ต้องการของคนทั้งหลาย ถ้าเราแยกเงินตราเป็นหลายๆแบบที่ไว้ใช้เพื่อซื้อของกินและของใช้ และแบบซื้อสิ่งอำนายความสะดวกต่างๆ เราจะแยก ประชาชนคนธรรมดาที่ขอเพียงไม่อดมื้อกินมื้อได้อยู่สบาย และพวกมีความมุ่งมั่นในความสบายจะไปแสวงหาเงินในส่วนที่ใช้ซื้อพวกของอำนวยความสะนอกเหล่านั้น ส่วนผู้มีอุดมการณ์ความมุ่งมั่นส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากผู้นำที่รวมเหล่าผู้ตามมาในเป้าหมายเดียวกันเพื่อที่จะรอดจากโลกที่โหดร้าย หรือเพื่อที่จะสะบายไปตลอดชาติ หรือเพื่อความเชื่อ... นั้นหมายความว่าระบบต่างๆถ้าเราออกแบบใหม่แยกส่วนให้เป็นระบบต่างๆความเละเทะแบบในปัจจุบันจะมีน้อยลงหรือแก้ไขปัญหาได้ถึงเบื้องลึก แต่ก็นั้นแหละ ไม่มีประเทศในโลกนี้สร้างและใช้ระบบนี้เพราะยังไม่มีผู้นำที่ดีมากความสามารถและกล้าที่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงพอ
ระบบที่ผมกล่าวถึงคือระบบที่จะกำจัดปัญหาขั้นพื้นฐานต่างๆเช่นความหิวและความอดอยากออกไป และที่เหลือก็คือการเติบโตของความปรารถนาของคนรุ่นใหม่ที่เกิดขึ้นในยุคที่อุดมสมบูรณ์นั้น กำจัดปัญหาพื้นฐานไปแต่ถ้าไม่ระวังอาจจะมีปัญหาด้านจิตใจที่ทำให้คนต่างๆทำอะไรไม่ระวังผลที่จะตามมา แต่แล้วไงถ้าเราสร้างพื้นฐานที่แข็งแรงดี การสั่งสอนและการปลูกฝังที่ไม่ใช่การยัดเยียด การจัดระบบที่ไม่ใช่การปล่อยให้เป็นไป เราจะสามารถสร้างยุคที่ 4 ขึ้นมาได้ ถ้าไม่ทำเราคงต้องติดอยู่ที่ยุคนี้ยุคที่ 3 มีแต่ทุนนิยมเป็นใหญ่แน่ๆ
