It's why the top decks in Master duel are always the ones that can cram full of hand traps and still be consistent due to having many 1 card starters. Kashtira bricks all the time with or without hand traps becuse it only really has 5 starters.

Kash can be bricky but it's not like he bricked on Kash cards (the same way Monarchs brick on Monarch cards) It was a bunch of hand traps and hand trap counters. So even more consistent decks that play those cards could have bricked the same way. Guarantee if Maxx C wasn't a thing, that'd free up at least 5 spots for consistency and at most 9. One of which he'd have drawn instead of that second Maxx C
Who could have guessed that hitting none of the problem cards that make these decks strong would do.... drum roll.......... nothing! Until those top tier decks are forced to play more engine / be less consistent, they will continue to dominate because of how many hand traps they can use while still being able to consistently do their thing every game (which is OTK you very easily / prevent you from playing if they go first)
if anything they made stun stronger.... hitting decks that actually play the game while, doing nothing to the toxic floodgates like boarder, EEV, dbarrier, card of demise etc. Dont get me started on fountain, that only hurts runick decks like naturia while stun already only played 1

The main point of online card game is to represent the offline one as close as possible, so people can enjoy the game experience without have to worry about distance. And obviously, there's no draw hand "ban" in offline game. It would be better if they put limit/forbidden to Kashtira cards. It will be more fair compared to control your player first hand draws 😢

Everything is good with Kashtira, just summon Fenrir (banish core material for XYZ/Link) or Unicorn (completely remove win condition if you only play 1 copy in extra deck) and the end board is so much better. It's a no brain require engine and as a deck, you hardly need to think once the walking macro is summoned.
If you put too many staples on a Kasthira deck, it will brick often. It's been happening too many times and due to the same mistake. Two Ash, two Maxx, and two Thrust should be your ratio, not anything else, I think.
I made that incomplete suggestion based on Dykaed tournaments. But if I would play Kasthira in this tournament I'll prefer archetype consistency over having every answer in my deck. So, my staples are: 2. Maxx 2. Ash 2. Droll or No More 2. Thrust 1. Harpie 1. Prosperity 30 Kasthira cards and supporters of it should compensate the lack of draw cards like Desires. You would only struggle with Purrely due to lacking towers removal. Everything else should be fine.
That stun match was like watching 2 blind old men hitting each other with their canes.

I mean if you put 15 handtraps in the main deck there is kinda a high chance to brick to be honest, with also the field spell and prosperity at 1.

You have toggle set to auto, need to be set to on to activate it in draw/standby.
