    Good Day! Great review, very comprehensive. I did have one specific question: If you have both cameras installed and connected, can you hear them both simultaneously if on split screen mode? And if so, is it only on the provided handset, or also via a mobile device? Thanks in advance.

      Thank you! Unfortunately I don't have the possibility to try your scenario out so I don't know but even without trying I don't expect it being possible with the wireless screen since it switch between inputs rather than connecting to both. From a mobile device this maybe is possible, hopefully someone else can try it out and answer here.

    Hi, thanks for the video! What about the audio quality and loudness? Is it good? Tks

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  3 роки тому

      I haven't measured loudness of the monitor but I think it is load enough. I don't wake up if my child just do small noises, then only my wife wake up, but we are using a sound machine, to help with sleeping, near the crib so that sound is preventing the smallest noises to be heard. Speaking through the 2 way channel make the voice sound distorted a little like automated voices but it is good enough for our child to recognize us it looks like on his reaction.

    It is a great product. The power supply of the cámara is not working (the cable is destroyed). Do you know if any kind of cable with the same specifications could work?

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  Рік тому

      It's a standard micro USB to power the camera. Any phone charger works fine since it require quite low power. Personally I use a wall usb outlet with a 3m long cord at home and a small phone charger when travelling.

    Hi, great review, thanks for it. If I may, I've one question: Can you tell me, for how long both devices can operate when running on batteries? Thanks in advance.

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  2 роки тому

      It greatly depends on how you use the monitor, we have the picture of and turn it back on only when looking at it. That result in several hours usage possible, the whole night if needed but then we most of the time charge it during use anyway. The camera operate about 1-1,5 hours on battery.

    Hei! The wireless display doesn't need wifi, right?

    • @MatthiasTidlund
      @MatthiasTidlund 4 роки тому

      No, the wireless display connect over a dedicated network created by the camera. It also works to both look at the wireless display and another device that use the wifi.

    We have not been able to figure out how to release the antenna. Are you able to show or explain how you did this?

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  Рік тому

      Push the antenna in the direction of the arrow (use your nail to grab it in the notch), about 1mm. By doing so it gets released from an edge and then you can rotate it with the screen left upper corner as pivot point.

    Hi there,
    Thank you for your help! I have a question. How to conect my phone to camera using only my mobile Internet?
    Thanks

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  3 роки тому

      You can’t do that because the camera doesn't have connection to mobile internet. The camera can only connect to wifi which then reach internet. The wireless monitor and camera connect through a dedicated channel and not through internet.

    Can I use the remote with Wi-Fi if the signal is week ?

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  Рік тому

      The remote screen have it's own network and don't connect to your router wifi but you can use your phone to connect to the camera over your router wifi. Both work at the same time and independent of each other.

    The cameras only work with battery 🔋, or can they be plugged in to?

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  3 роки тому

      The camera in the video is with battery but can also be plugged in. There are other models which only can be plugged in. I don't think there are any other model from the same series that only has battery but no possibility to be plugged in.

    What’s the difference between this model and the MBP50? They look identical. Thanks

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  2 роки тому

      MBP50-g2 doesn't have WiFi so that one can only be used with the monitor and not also with a phone/computer.

    The camera can be used outdoors? Is it waterproof?

    • @MatthiasTidlund
      @MatthiasTidlund 4 роки тому

      No, it is not waterproof. If you leave your baby in it's trolley in the rain I wouldn't be worried to put the camera inside of the rain cover for the trolley. The parts feel rigid enogh in case the baby grab the camera, but it's not designed for that purpose either.

      It reacts on the motion of small cats (that is the only pets we have). Otherwise I have not done any tests related to animals.

    Really liked your video, Very detailed review, but I would really appreciate if you could help me with something. Does the monitor turns on the screen automatically when it detects sound or movement? I’m looking or a device that, when you turn it on, you can leave the screen black and it activates the video stream automatically when it detects move or sound. Can you give me some help with that. Thank you.

    • @MatthiasTidlund
      @MatthiasTidlund 4 роки тому

      Thank you. You can leave the screen black and when sound is detected it will be heard from the monitor if the speaker is activated as well as LED lights will light up to show how high level it is. If your speaker is off the LED lamps will still show you the sound level. The screen will in both scenarios stay black.
      If you connect to the camera with your phone it will use the phone notification bar to alert you of sound or movement but not switch to showing the screen automatically.
      Note that you can also configure the camera as a security monitor and in that case be able to use it with surveillance software on computers in the same network, this could be utilized in a way to make a computer switch to the camera view that give an alert but probably require some tinkering since it is not something that comes ready out of the box.

  • @spadilha
    @spadilha 3 роки тому

    Does it need to have the mobile app "active" to get motion and sound detection/alert or can you keep the app in the background?

    • @MatthiasTidlund
      @MatthiasTidlund 3 роки тому +1

      No, you always get alerts and snapshots of the moments you monitor even with your mobile display off and the app in the background.

    • @spadilha
      @spadilha 3 роки тому

      @@MatthiasTidlund thanks! So basically you don’t need monitor. You can just use the camera and your mobile?

    • @MatthiasTidlund
      @MatthiasTidlund 3 роки тому +1

      @@spadilha Correct, but personally I like being able to have the monitor separately since it connects with it's own network to the camera and then you can get it up and running without configuration while on the go.

    How long does camera battery last

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  3 роки тому +1

      It depends on running conditions like range and temperature but between 1-2 hours according to others. I very seldom use it on only battery but when I have done it I think it is closer to 1 hour.

    If I don't what to connect to wifi, the cameras works anyway?

    • @experiencetechnology

      Yes, the wireless monitor have a dedicated transmission to the camera that doesn't need any configuration at all other than if you break the display and buy a new.

    Hi, thanks for your review. I would like to know whether there is light emitted from the baby monitor when in night mode vision. Our baby sleeps in a pitch black room and any light would disrupt his ability to settle and resettle. I can imagine that there will be a small "on"light button perhaps which I could cover with blue tack. However, any light emitted from the night vision mode could not be covered as I understand this would stop the ability to capture any image when pitch black. Would really appreciate your answer. Thanks so much :)

    • @experiencetechnology
      @experiencetechnology  3 роки тому

      Our baby is also sleeping in a pitch black room (even aluminium foil covering the slightest gap). The night vision is totally black (IR light without any wave lengths within the visible range for humans). There is a small led lamp beside the on/off button that we covered since it cant be shut off.

      We use our baby monitor every day and are happy with it so I would be surprused if you would have the opposite feeling. My wife even use it more than I do.
