Her reaction is heartbreaking, especially when she tells Emma that Henry looked right through her. He did that because his memories of her had been erased
I like how the whole room goes silent when Regina sees Henry. I've said before that I think it's probably a combination of genuine sympathy, and fear of what Regina's reaction might be, if she loses it. In some ways, she's like an unexploded bomb.
i totaly forget that Ruby was in a few present day scenes in granys and was just not the rins eason 4 ! now the scene that played afte rthe seaosn 3 final made much more sense to me
And the way she accuses Regina of being responsible for the curse is fucked up. After Regina was the one that allowed Emma to start over which is all she ever wanted WITH HENRY. Which is reginas son also like da fuq Emma. And Regina didn't even get mad.
+Lissa Considering the only other time a dark curse was cast, it separated Emma from her mom and dad, devasted an entire population, and caused Henry himself years of lonliness, self-doubt, and sadness, Yeah, Emma is understandably weary talking to the person who was capable of doing it. Also, if she DID suspect Regina, it wouldn't have been wise to alert Regina that she was back in town without getting a feel of what caused everyone's return. I don't think she did it in a malicous way, just in a better to be safe than sorry way. Especially since her suspicion of Regina didn't last long.
for me the most anoying things that Emma do is she keep Henry from regina. Regina was the one who took care of henry for ten years while Emma just steal and do nothing with her life. i'm anoying that she look older than snow white.
Emma really handled the whole thing poorly. She didn't even want Henry to get his memories back, even if it meant that he'd never remember his other parents (Neal and Regina). Yes, his other life was hectic, but seriously. Henry's not just her kid.
Lissa I'm not saying that emma handled this perfectly. But she had her own reasons for being suspicious, and she was one of the first people to believe Regina. And also emma had her reasons for wanting to keep Henry out of Storybrooke. I mean look what happened to him there. He gets kidnapped, poisoned, etc. She wants him safe which based on past experiences wasn't in storybrooke. She didn't want him to completely forget Neal and Regina, but since, in her mind, the best way of keeping Henry out of Storybrooke without him wanting to return(especially since he has a habit of running away) was for him to continue not to remember anything. Its not a great decision, but it's not a great situation either
One of the things I don't like about this show they always show Emma as Henry's only mother, even when she wants to leave for NY she unilaterally decides she is going to take Henry as if she has the sole right to make all the decisions considering him when Regina has more rights than her. If there was a mother and father situation both parents are equally important.
did you not watch 3A finale? Regina had to give Henry up to undo Pans curse, Emma wanted to go back with everyone but Henry couldn't so she stayed behind with him
This would make anyone feel terrible for Regina. Her own son didn't even recognize her. She does have a point though, no witch would torture herself like that and she does love Henry.
I love how we can totally understand what she means when she says "I cast curses to hurt others, not myself." In this situation we totally understand. Why would she cast a curse like this, only to get her son to not remembering her?
Henry said his life sucked and he couldn’t stand Regina in Season 1. Then they retconned it like she was some great Mom afterwards. The writers can spin their story anyway they want. It doesn’t mean it makes sense or is consistent. You had fans calling Henry an ungrateful brat just because they loved Regina’s character and Henry’s acting wasn’t so great. A lot of the development we saw in Henry was influenced by Emma and The Charmings. Their influence shouldn’t be overlooked. Based on Season 1, Regina was truly the Evil Queen, both in the EF and SB. She was EVIL. No sugarcoating. Yeah, she changed and I ended up loving her character’s development, but it doesn’t retroactively make her some great mother.
I don't think it was for 10 years. I agree that Regina was a bad mother, because she couldn't be anything else, but I also think they were happy for a little while when Henry was small. The trouble would have started when he began to notice the curse, and realize how very strange Storybrooke was, and Regina wouldn't (because she _couldn't_) explain, or even acknowledge any of it.
Emma was right to put her on a suspect list. Regina is always going to be a suspect in situations like that, because of her track record. When the bank is robbed, suspicion falls first on the person who robbed it before. Regina has a lot of debts to pay off.
@@shermanlee4037 Well if Emma bothered to study her magic, she would learn you can only cast the curse and like she said if she had she would've made Henry remember her! I know Regina has done a lot of bad stuff, some unforgivable stuff, I know there were no excuses, but at least she admits to it now and is working to improve.
But Emma has no way to know how sincere that is, and plenty of reason to doubt her. Note that after her initial suspicion, she did conclude that Regina was innocent (at least of this). But it's simply _natural_ that everyone is going to doubt Regina, after everything that's happened. The only reason Regina _lived_ after the end of Season One is Henry wanted her alive. Otherwise, the town would have killed Regina. She's gained a lot of trust since then, but she has a long way to go.
Regina's face when she saw Henry. It made me tear up.
Her reaction is heartbreaking, especially when she tells Emma that Henry looked right through her. He did that because his memories of her had been erased
Lana Parilla's acting was brilliant in this scene. She looked genuinely shocked when she saw Henry.
poor Regina... she loves Henry so much!

I just love this scene. It's both funny and tragic. Snow "banditry" and Regina "He looked right through me" were gold. Thanks for posting!
yes banditry and Emma was like yea that will work
"He looked right through me"....(that's good acting) Regina raised that boy- she loves him.
Snow: "......Banditry."
HAHAHAAHAHHAHAHA!!! :-P

"Banditry" hahaha.
I bet everyone in town kept giving henry and emma stares. I mean ruby almost slipped up
when I realized that was Regina, all I could do was just keep saying "control yourself Regina!"
i totaly forget that Ruby was in a few present day scenes in granys and was just not the rins eason 4 ! now the scene that played afte rthe seaosn 3 final made much more sense to me
The fact that Emma didn't go see Regina and tell her really made me mad. And the way she said "because he doesn't remember you" was so plain and rude.
And the way she accuses Regina of being responsible for the curse is fucked up. After Regina was the one that allowed Emma to start over which is all she ever wanted WITH HENRY. Which is reginas son also like da fuq Emma. And Regina didn't even get mad.

I agree. Her life sucks lol

Banditry. Could’ve said armed robbery, but no, banditry.

Who is the best mom Emma or Regina?
Both in their own way
I like it
😂😂😂
I forgot about Ruby.
i really hated Emma in this clip, and regina was the one who raised henry, not emma.
She gaslit him for 10 years. Just because she raised him doesn't mean she was a good mother.
drlee2 She did raise him well.

SHUT UP EMMA! If it wasn't for Regina you wouldn't have got to leave with Henry in the first place!
