CATIA How to make a screw with two methods Helix and Thread command

the thread is cut in the barrel of the future screw, but yours is attached to the barrel.
But maybe it's a screw for wood?

The first method that uses the command thread is the one I always use for actualy manufacturing.
The second one where I just attached the thread I only needed to use in school or in a CATIA tournament so I do not know if it is usable for anything.
