Yeah I’m curious myself. I enjoyed his run on Miles Morales Spider-Man
I love Zdarsky’s DD. And Checchetto’s artwork is a (big) part of that. It was the first ongoing series of US comics I ever followed and I love it. In the second half of the run it does lose some quality and as a Punisher fan I didn’t like what they did with Frank in the crossover issues but nonetheless one of my favorite comic runs. Great review, Dominick. 👏🏻
Yeah I can appreciate that. I do think I preferred the first half of this run but I still enjoyed the whole ride! Art from Checchetto is just stunning. I remember you liking this run but I forgot they this was the first ongoing US title you followed. Wow!

Yo bro remember me? I mean I didn't comment on one of your videos for 9 months anyways. It's an amazing run I read it 3 months ago Chip zdarsky real has a way of story telling that feels kinda of epic yet philosophical sometimes and the art good.

The last time you made a massive verse comics review was about rogue sun and it was 10 months ago right please please do a review of radiant black volume 3,4 and 5 or rogue sun volume 2 and 3 atleast make radiant black volume 3 review please please 🙏🙏 I am requesting you radiant black volume 2 was one of your favourite indie comics that you read last year right so please please read more massive verse books I promise you will love it please do Atleast one massive verse review please and anyways I love your videos and your video make more people recognise the comics has a great medium of story telling and also thank you dom for listening to me 😢I love your videos

I’m so glad you also enjoyed Zdarsky’s Daredevil run, definitely a fun modern run!
I know I need to get back into the massive-verse! So far I’ve only read the first two paperback collections of Radiant Black and the first of Rogue Sun. And a couple issues of Dead Lucky. I keep hearing good things about the different series but I’ve yet to venture further into that universe. If/when I do I will certainly try to review

I picked up the DMs of both, and you are right they're some of the best-looking books on my shelf. They really got those covers right. I haven't read them yet. I just started the Bendis run a couple of days ago, so gonna read in order.

Very happy I got to scoop this one before the madness emerged (even tho the DM I opted to is somewhat available regardless, possibly not for long). Have a few more runs I wanna finish before I get into this, but the artwork is absolutely stunning, can’t wait.

Can you recommend a Punisher comic. I've only watched the Netflix show and I'm a fan of the character but Idk where to start. I just want something brutal and violent
@@BruceWayne-et8kh only punisher I’ve read has been the more tame Punisher stories and his crossovers with Daredevil. My understanding is any of the Punisher Max incarnations of the character are most explicit or intense

Between this and his Batman run, especially his Gotham war story arc, I really wonder if Chip Zdarksy understands how the world works. I don’t know if he’s lived a very sheltered live but considering he puts the exact same ideas about cops in criminals in all of his work, I think he’s actually never been around criminals or cops. This idea that criminals are all good and just need a second chance or to be rehabbed is a very ignorant view. I feel like he makes daredevil look like a complete idiot so Chip could push his political ideas.😅
I walked away with a bit of a different take away, but I suppose I can see your perspective
@ I mean breaking people out of jail then letting one free to go across country to go look for his son, that’s just dumb. What he think will happens if he runs into police? He will run, people get hurt, property damage, all because daredevil wanted to virtue signal. But hey what matters at the end of the day is if you enjoyed it.
@ I think I saw it more as he felt the system failed to bring reform and he was trying a different kind of rehabilitation. Regardless of what I believe on the matter, I buy that he got disillusioned with the system in place that he served.
And overall for me it boiled down to a fun read. I did prefer the first half of the run more, but still fun I thought

@ I do feel it was a bit irrational, I think that’s why I like that he immediately had the Avengers hunt him down 😂
