I’ve changed my muffler for more sound and I’m lucky to hit 90mph with my ZR rxc 600 from seeing guys saying there hitting like 108 mph with there ZR 600 I’m having a hard time believing it
Whats the best top speed you have gotten? Does the race department have any different gear ratios for you, or are you stuck running just the stock one?
@@GunnerArlo56 I wasn't sure if the race department (whats left of it anyways) would have any other combos for you, or if just the 3 stock ones are all that's available. (Guess you could always swap to 9t drivers if you need more) Lots of variables, but at 106 you are doing a pretty good job of tuning, and getting pretty deep into OD in the clutching..
Can't wait to see the 850
It would be awesome to keep us up to date on reliability. Although I know you as a racer go through the sled all the time
looks like a blast to ride on that ice....where is this?
Good lord, that looks terrifying. I'll stick to meadow bashing in actual snow.
Break it in? Do u know Gunner?? He completely wore out a bran new skidoo before the first race one year!! Lol
Might have to sell my polaris and try a catalyst!

Seems a bit understeery from that angle but nothing a bit of fine tuning can't fix...
Oh yeah, still trying to a consistent balance of weight transfer in corner entry and exit.

We're at 106 so far. Yeah there are 3 different options of gearing. But the stock set on the RXC is the best ratio setup for the lake racing so far.

Have you break any “final drive” belts yet?
Oh no. 700+ miles on it now. And most of that is wide open on the lake. No issues yet.
@@GunnerArlo56 awesome! Keep ripping!
Thats how fast it is on full throttle?
It was really warm that day, so the ice was really sticky. The best we've seen so far is 106.
Is there any mods because it look like you where hitting 95 or 96 mph
Nope, 100% stock we've adjusted some clutching. It was warmer this day so the ice was a little sticky otherwise it'd be 100+ in that section
I can smell your hyfax burning from my computer😃
Dupont Hyfax and 170+ Ice Picks making ice chips. They'll last a 1000 miles in these conditions actually.
