What a spectacular National park. Great beach, campground, and hike. Loved the rock that resembled a bird. Brillant views always make the hike up worthwhile. Your kids are becoming real troopers on these hikes. Lucky them to experience this. I checked out Shady mates and I might get some. Look the goods.
Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah the kids are really good on the hikes! ShadyMate have given us a discount code as well, TLP for 20% off.

Thanks for sharing your travels
Our pleasure!
Just left there, absolutely, stunning just to drive through, have two dogs so couldn’t stop so thanks for the mountain climb and view. Love your hard work and commitment, I appreciate your time and efforts 😊❤
It is fantastic! Hammersley inlet isn't in the NP itself, so you may be able to have dogs there?
Mount Baron looks awesome. Love the Shadymate sunniest. Look light weight as well now following them on insta.
It's a cracker! Cheers mate.
Awesome episode .. hopefully get to catch up with you guys again in the future.
Shady Mate ✅
Sounds good! Cheers
Didn’t know Shady mate existed, they look 👌
They're pretty cool 😉
Boy those ticks! Done the Shady Mate
Cheers!
Wow, those ticks, you would think in this day and age someone would have a repellent of some sort.
We've often thought that. They're tricky little buggers.
You are so lucky to get into Fitzgerald NP in Feb as it’s the height of fire season and we have been unable to access Hamersley Inlet campground in the past due to fires . We have however accessed East Mt Baron from Bremer Bay however interested to know if you found Pt Ann where there is a fabulous beach with views to whales and passing . And of course East Mt Baron has the stunning Royal Hakea which Im sure you saw plenty of .
Ah, wow. Well, there you go! Didn't realise how lucky we got. I think we missed Pt Ann, though
So good to see you in my backyard! I’ve done plenty of skiing on Hamersley Inlet, back in the day when it was just a patch of gravel and zero facilities. It dries up quite often so you were lucky to see it so full. Hamersley Beach has the best sand dunes you would have loved them! Anyway, cool Shadymate sunnies, enjoy my part of the world, we are so very lucky to live there (although we are fulltime travellers now) 😎
Very cool! Didn't realise it would dry out! Thanks for sharing
Congratulations! You've won the ShadyMate giveaway! Send us an email to simon@thelifestylepioneers.com and we'll let you know how to get your hands on them!

Awsome!! That hike deserves a couple of beers, or maybe an expresso martini or two!!! That's where the Shadymate ✅️sunglasses come in.😉
😂 Love it. Cheers 🍻
Gave Shady mate a like 🤘
Good stuff!
Loving Shady Mate Glasses!
Nice one!
Shadymate are being stalked.
Love it!
Those veiws❤ and that would be a very bad spot to lose a drone 😅
Ah, yep 😂
Oh yucky ticks. Vinegar (any type, brown, white, apple cider) dehydrates insects. Put a little in the cup you had put the ticks in they will die. Also use Apple Cider Vinegar as a hair/body rinse to help get rid of them too.
Thanks for the episode. I’m a new subscriber after finding some of your Off Grid series you filmed last year.
Thanks for the sub, and the vinegar tip!
Stalking shady mates just now they look great, I’ll be keeping them on so I don’t see those ticks ewww😂
😂👍
Love your vids
Thanks so much!
Shadymate is looking cool. Following sorted
Nice work!
Shady mate glasses 👍
Cheers
I need some new sunnies too 🤘
send em down to Tassie 😁
Sounds good!
Nice video guys. Is that the Shimoda camera backpack? What do you think of it? Is it comfy? Cheers
Thanks mate. Yeah, it's the Shimoda one, we've had it a little while and absolutely love it. It's comfy, durable and really practical. Cheers.
Following and liked.
Cheers!
Ticks can do serious harm!
They're nasty little critters
Great episode. Re the ticks. I now have what’s called a mammalian tick disease. Meaning I can not eat read meat or any bi-product of a mammal. This was diagnosed after I kept having anaphylaxis episodes after eating meat. I am now under a professor and never ever pull a tick out. I now never ever pull a tick off as they fight and inject this disease into your blood. I now use a spray which kills the tick and they fall off. Not easy with the kids as they don’t like the tick being there. Hopefully all is well for you all. But a great episode and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing, we've heard a little about diseases from ticks, which is worrying. Liz contracted Ross River Virus from a mosquito a few years back.
@@TheLifestylePioneers tiny nasty little critters 😳🤦♀️…
Agree another great episode. Re the ticks - I also have mammalian tick disease but to a lesser degree than Karen. I went two years without eating any red meat or by-products and my levels have decreased so now safe to have it very occasionally. I always carry a tube of cream called Lyclear (used for scabies but don’t let that deter you!) available from any chemist. I use this cream if I get a tick in the nymph stage, I.e. a grass tick and they are killed within a half hour and then can be removed safely, not easy with little ones but will kill the tick and stop any allergic reaction.
Just to clarify - the cream doesn’t stop an allergic reaction but by killing the tick any reaction will be minimised. I have to take an antihistamine medication to ensure no allergic reaction or anaphylaxis occurs.
@@andreabaker7219 yes I use the lyclear as well but only if I have tiny tiny tick - almost like a speck of dust. I use the tick spray for anything bigger. Unfortunately my numbers have increased but I’m working on getting them down!
I just never ever now pull a tick off. 😵💫. But a great episode people out doing what they love.
noice vid... One Day.....
Cheers
Time to shave the hair guys to keep the ticks at bay. A bit like nits, good nit shampoo nails them too. 😅
They were everywhere!
Ticks don't like Aerogard
Good to know!
😎@ShadyMate😎
Love it!
