Rediscovering a Historic WWII Shipwreck

Using OceanXplorer's ROV, Mark Ward and Jacques Ouchakoff return to the wreck site of the HMCS Athabaskan 20 years after discovering the vessel. Mark's grandfather, Leslie Ward, was a Lieutenant on board the Athabaskan the night it was sunk and lost his life along with 127 sailors. The Athabaskan and its sinking signified the most significant loss for the Royal Canadian Navy during the World War II.
