+Expert Fire/EMS Productions. Our department doesn't have Driver/Engineers as a position. It just happens to be the FF who's driving the engine (or in this case, SQT 14) pumps before getting hose
+Expert Fire/EMS Productions. Only 2 FFs per rig down there on most days like the day I took this I went to 3 houses and each only had 2 FFs at the station.
+flskywarn Daytona beach shores and ponce inlet and later in the week I went to Daytona station 2 for a few seconds they seemed busy at the time and didn't seem to interested, everyone else was very welcoming and asked me as much questions about firefighting here in NJ as I did about them in FL
Nice Squirt, im surprised more fire departments doent use these more often. The city I live in has 1 its a Pierce Snozzle, just an elevated nozzle, no ladder, and they use it all the time, structure fire, grass fires, dumpster fires, blitz attack, and other fires. I like these a little better, because of the rescue ladder and them, but there very useful.
That was one of the worse sounding sirens I have ever heard. Plus the driver could not even make that turn without running off the road time for some more driver training.
This area has a fairly narrow two lane road that is very busy so he was likely trying to get into his lane quickly due to traffic typically found on this stretch of road
