@@bencilcase4459 I would say that it is definitely soft and springy. I'm giving it a fair try, but I did include an extra stainless steel nib in my order, which I think will inevitably replace the titanium nib. I love the way the titanium nib looks but not really how it feels.
Very good video Bencil..and thank you for the additional information regarding the adaptor..You could have also mentioned the price of standard entry level Bulkfiller..
When the pen is inked up and you fixed the piston in the upper position - you should still hold your pen nib down above the ink bottle. The smaller piston moving down still can push some ink through the nib.
That is a very good point as it could happen, however i did want to demonstrate the whole filling process. And during my time using the pen, i havent fount this to happen with this pen, as when youre writing with it normally, you would unscrew it to refill the smaller chamber and would not normally have access to an ink bottle to screw the hand nut. I dont find ink dripping out when tightening the handnut of many different double reservoir pens to be an issue. Drips usually only happen right after filling when the nib is over-saturated
I really hope Conid opens up for business again some time soon.
Awesome first video!
Thanks!
Really good overview and demonstration of the pen. I just got mine too! Conid Regular demonstrator with a fine titanium nib. Thanks for this!
Congrats! How does the titanium nib write? i almost got one, but i heard they're a bit soft and springy
