  • As the Rugby World Cup draws to a close, we turn our attention on House of Rugby to the URC and the provinces.
Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill is joined in studio by James Downey and Pat McCarry to look back on an exciting weekend of URC rugby with wins for Connacht, Munster and Leinster.
The look at Connacht's great start to the season, with three wins from three. BUT can they sustain that on the road now? They've three away fixtures coming on the trot.
Munster's young-guns got the job done against the Dragons, and some of them could be impressing enough to keep their place. The lads look at the impressive output from some of their academy stars.
Plus, Jacques Nienaber will soon start with Leinster. What will the World Cup winning coach bring to the set-up and could he be the magic ingredient missing in tight European games?
All that, plus a look at some changes at the high-performance level in the IRFU.

Battle stats! Thats how Nienaber will change you guys...in S.A we don't catch feelings about who is starting and who's on the beach...You're chosen to fulfill a role at a specific time in the game that needs your skill set at that moment . It's why you can take your halfbacks off at 30 minutes into the game ...and nobody in the team is batting an eyelash because everyone knows the thinking behind it...If the Irish did this against NZ you'd have been world champs. We in S.A have adopted a very NFL approach to our game...its stats driven. We don't chose the most talented players, we choose the most hard working. Thats how we've won 4 World Cups.

NOTHING ! He is a saffa so he must be awful, right? Irish think the Boks are undeserved winners of back to back world cups and a B&I lions tour in between. Poor coaching and terrible players... it was just really lucky

Why have women on rugby shows? It’s off putting and pure pandering
