In this video class I convert a SNES background to the PSX style. This second part addresses the background layer with all the machinery. Since nearly all boss arenas use pre-rendered 3D models, this is what we will do! I do not use textures and try to keep things as simple as possible. A proper conversion would also take into account aesthetic changes from the eras, such as the crystals, but satisfactory results can be achieved nevertheless.
Please consider I am not very experienced in Blender and I was figuring out how to make some of the steps while recording the video, so there may be more efficient ways to achieve the same results. In the written guide, I have made better descriptions.
