Video class for 'A guide to PSX Mega Man X backgrounds'
In this video class I convert a SNES background to the PSX style. This second part addresses the background layer with all the machinery. Since nearly all boss arenas use pre-rendered 3D models, this is what we will do! I do not use textures and try to keep things as simple as possible. A proper conversion would also take into account aesthetic changes from the eras, such as the crystals, but satisfactory results can be achieved nevertheless.
Please consider I am not very experienced in Blender and I was figuring out how to make some of the steps while recording the video, so there may be more efficient ways to achieve the same results. In the written guide, I have made better descriptions.

Pretty interresting in regards how you did these so easly. I created like a month ago out of 3D model from a friend menu sprites by manually resizing and then lower the colour count with GIMP's postorise option, and then doing manual adjustments like we did back in MS Paint. And I just remembered, that YT does automatically delete posts if there is a link outgoing of YT itself.
