I get why some fans may not like this direction they've gone in musically, but I feel like they do it really well. I thought the same thing about the Insomnium comparison haha
Great song and interesting guitar sound. It was sort of thick, but also very soft in a way. I don't mean that in a bad way. It's definitely different. Also, never heard that Finnish melodic death sound interspersed with thrash metal. Dig it. 🤘

I was waiting for a killer clean singing in the chorus. Pretty much In Flames these guys. Which isn't bad.

This deviates quite much from their Where the oceans burn / Heal era, don't love it but don't hate it
They've release 2 and 3 albums since.
If you haven't changed in the last 8 years and expect bands to be the same way, maybe don't listen to new music. Ever.
@@nolankuffner3573 I didn't say that the change they've made is bad. I understand natural growth in bands' sound, I'm okay with that. Just pointed out what I pointed out. That's it.
@@nolankuffner3573 has nothing to do with bands changing per say; just so many bands are going into this trend of making generic, commercial sounding music these days. Every band seems to be doing the same thing now. How is that changing? That’s just trying to sell out. Same thing happened to Lost Society, for example. They became the very thing they vowed not to become. Soon, every band will sound like the last. Very little creativity anymore, that’s the problem. “New” isn’t really new

I don't know how to say this nicely, so I won't. This is the worst song the band has made, I miss the melodic guitars that made this band great
For me its the best since Heal.
I’m with you there; bland generic sound coming from them. Godsend was such a good, melodic album that had uniqueness to it. Seems a lot of bands these days are going for a more generic, commercial sound.

…not sure if it’s exactly the worst, but definitely somewhere there…After ”Heal”, which in my opinion was their best, they are going just down, again in my opinion…
It's one of the better songs of the new album at least. This one sounds at least a bit harmonic. For most of the others, it seems like they tried to get in on the trend of dissonant metal lines, but that is so damn hard and they're just not doing it right.
Mid. Nothing memorable to me.
Could say the same about Insomnium, but you gave that a pass.
