Thank you, I love it. I posted a video a couple months ago Climbing Engineer, Hurricane, California and Corkscrew Pass in a Sprinter Van and Overland Trailer. It has a lot of the Super Ute in the big mountain passes.
It is a sweet build. But I laugh cuz you talk about how easy it is to take all that stuff off and all I can think is goodness that's a ton of work I'd rather just pull the trailer lol
Thats an awesome rig! Im sure the Aussies would be impressed. Taha What do you do for work? Was wondering if that was more the reason for going this route rather than its overland capabilities.
The aussies love it, I asked one or two 😂😂😂. I’m retired and moved to remote Montana doing a full gut job remodel of our cabin for my wife. It’s quite a project.
Cool, but I see a lot of shortcomings in that bed. It’s as wide as a dually service body, which is stupid if you drive anywhere with trees. That headache rack looks like something off a Peterbilt, and they should have left it there. The bed side hinges are going to get smashed if you do any real work or offroading with that, but at least it’s a replaceable piece. I think stake pockets would have been a better choice to mount those. I do like the ginormous tailgate though, as I keep breaking my handle and mechanism. I do like the cargo boxes, and had no idea that button bolt thing existed for mounting to those tracks. I have one buddy with a Frontier, and another with a Tacoma who both got those rails as a factory/dealer option. I’m super jealous of that, but I made do with X-track in my chevy. Not a fan of the inflatable topper, seems like a gimmick just waiting for a puncture. I suppose it would be handy just to cover your gear, etc. at basecamp though. Lastly, the Ford is a heck of a strong chassis but their drivetrains are trash. Not to mention they are not proponents of right-to-repair, and you can’t do much yourself without their oem scanner.
i saw this rig at the expo and man it is sweeeet awesome rig glad to finally see the walkaround on the YT!
Following that truck through the passes in CO was awesome! Thanks again for including us in this epic build!
That’s a very cool build… impressive how you can break it down like that… love to see some videos with your build showing how capable your rig is… thx

Bro that's is an impressive build!!!!!
Thank you so much!!!
I like it! Very unique! Good job!
Thanks for checking it out!
Very nice build! Similar to mine. Love being able to compare and contrast use cases.
Sick build man!!
Thanks bro!

Thanks. Trailers are definitely not a bad way to go but I like the shorter length of rigs without trailers.
Take my money. I like this a lot.
Hell yea man!!!
How do you pack/store your clothes/sleeping bag/personal items that cannot get wet? Duffle bag in a rubbermaid style box in the bed?
You can definitely do a Roam Box that is waterproof but I usually keep my backpack or duffle in the backseat.

You need some filler panels to mask the chassis.
I actually like the open area around the wheels. Next Jump just launched some under bed boxes that fill behind the wheel well. Maybe I’ll grab them.
Hello Kelly~ I just sent you an email. Please check it~😀
